Author has written 7 stories for Stardust, Chronicles of Narnia, and Wicked. What would you like to know? I'm in my early twenties - female, in case you can't guess - and have just finished my Bachelor's Degree in English and Linguistics. I'm a something of a perfectionist, and sometimes have to remind myself that at the end of the day, fanfic is written for fun. I tend to get story ideas by wondering about how or why various things happened in canon, and then following logical threads until I have a huge amount of data on my hands, and usually several plots to go along with it. At the same time, I can be a hopeless romantic, and fluffy romantic humour is my favourite thing to write and read, silly though it makes me feel. Generally my stories follow canon very closely; though I do write Alternate Universes, once one change has been established, I try to keep binding my story back to the original as much as possible, which I think helps keep it in character. None of my favourite pairings (or any of my pairings, frankly), are non-canonical - I've just never seen the appeal. Also, I do not write (or read) slash, but please do not be like half the fanfic world out there and assume that means I'm homophobic - half my friends are avid slash writers and I have nothing against it; I simply don't write it, just as I don't write horror. I read a from a large number of fandoms, including Wicked, Stardust, Narnia, Tolkien, Harry Potter, Star Trek (TNG, DS9, Voyager, and the 2009 reboot), Pirates of the Caribbean, Pride&Prejudice, fairytales, Star Wars, and a few others. I write for less. At the moment, Wicked is my major fandom and I am trying to finish my multi-chapter fic The Grand Vizier of Oz before the end of this year (2009). I have also just finished tying off my large Stardust fanfic, Crowning Tristan, which I'm sorry to say will never be truly completed - see my note in chapter sixteen for details. I've also written a few one-shots for both these fandoms, and for Narnia. At present, I have no plans other than to finish Vizier, but it is always possible that a great idea will strike and two thousand words will suddenly fall out of my sleeve. I hope so; those stories tend to work out best :) My LiveJournal is here. My FanFiction Directory is here.
