I'm the proud mama to five beautiful boys: Teddy (Teddy Lupin; Harry Potter), Brony (a rescue rat, he came with it and the name was supposed to be a joke), Saint (Boondock Saints), Hero (Ten Inch Hero) and Mischief (Mischief Committee from Fight Club). Those rats are my life and I treat them far better than I treat myself sometimes. I take them out for walks in my coat/hoodie/pocket and they act as little rat-bassadors for the neighbourhood. I just lost Bennett on March 9, 2013 (Bennett Halverson; Dollhouse) and Viking on March 26, 2013 (Eric Northman; True Blood.)

I also have three beautiful goldfish Luna (Luna Lovegood; Harry Potter), Indigo (Indigo by Tom Milsom) and Lucky (because he managed to survive). I got my fishies when I was first starting college and was totally lonely. They hand feed and play finger chase tag. I got them in October of 2009 and all three are MASSIVE.

When I'm not writing/reading fic, I'm usually on Tumblr. I also do a fair bit of reading and love music (though I play nothing myself). I like nature and being outside. Animals have a soft spot in my heart (though I don't like hippos, lady bugs or home invasion type bugs ex. ants, silverfish, earwigs, bedbugs). I work full time as an Early Childhood Educator at a centre with more than 80 registered children, which means I get snuggles and cute children stories but don't have to pay for college for anyone.

I used to write a lot of fanfiction but haven't really been active on here in a couple of years. Obviously that has been changing in the past year or so. Currently I'm in LOVE with The Walking Dead and the wonderful Norman Reedus. I adore Daryl, Merle, Andrea, Michonne and Shane though it is difficult to find fics that match my tastes for them. I'm oddly fascinated by "Meth" right now although "Deth" is cool too. Typically my pairings are Maggie/Glenn, Daryl/OC and Merle Oc.

A Note on Jessie:

As many, if not all, of you might be aware, I have had my writing stolen multiple times by the user PirateJessieSwaby. Jessie has been stealing work for the past few months from a number of users in this community.

Through a lot of hard work myself and other users have gotten Jessie to admit to what she has done and to agree that she needs to change her ways. I had thought that we were done with her story theft but at the end of April I was contacted again by a user and discovered that she took work again. I am deeply saddened by this relapse and feeling a lot of betrayal both because of my personal involvement and because Jessie felt the need to lie about what happened.

In talking with Jessie and other authors in the past few days I've come to realize that if we want to change anything about this situation then we need to have all work together to do so. Jessie is currently posting under the username DarylDixon'sLover and despite many attempts to get her to stop posting and take the time to work with the writers she stole from, she seems to repeatedly go behind everyone's backs and go right back to posting again. I feel as if my reputation is on the lie right now because of my continued efforts to support her. I feel as though I'm enabling her and that she will not stop until people refuse to read her work.

Her typical triggers are writer's block and difficulty writing smut scenes. Despite having several accounts and having no problems switching account Jessie is quite easy to recognize as she posts very similar stories with the same characters and often the same plots and titles. Her profiles are also typically structured the same. She likes to work with co-authors and often requests that people co-author stories with her or asks people read and review her stories through private messages.

If you continue to read Jessie's work after reading this then I'm asking that you please not review her stories until she starts to acknowledge her part in all of this. Jessie really does seem to need the feedback that reviews give and until she stops getting that, she probably won't truly work to change her behaviour or make amends.
