Well, now that I have a story up I'm feeling suddenly motivated to say something interesting here. So here it goes:
SOMETHING INTERESTING.
Did it work? Ah well, I guess I'll talk about me instead then. I'm a girl, 18 soon to be 19, and a sophomore in college studying Actuarial science. Don't feel bad if you don't know what this is. No one does, so I'll sum it up for you: Math. Lots of it. More specifically, I’m a bit of a neat-freak, and a bit more of a nerd. I'm very opinionated and I'm not afraid to speak my mind. I'm a Christian. I was homeschooled, but still think of myself as a homeschooler (because you can always learn at home). I love to read (now there's one you haven't heard before right?) I have many a fond memory of reading books while I was supposed to be doing grammar. Of course now I wish that I had learned all of that stuff so I wouldn't have to read through my stories a gazillion times trying to get rid of stray commas (my mom was right: I do wish I had learned that stuff now that I'm older). I also love watching tv and movies. Really, I think I just love a good story. Which leads me into the fandoms that I like:
Trigun - My first in so many ways. First anime, first fanfiction I ever read...
Heroes - It's funny, this was the last fandom I ever really expected to write for...
Angel- Most of my stories fall under this category. For some reason this show inspires me (also, I'm a sucker for a good A/C story)
Buffy - I read these more than write them. I don't trust myself to write a convincing Buffy (although she does annoyingly turn up in one of my WIP.
Firefly - Why, yes, I am a Whedonite. How could you tell?
Concerning my writing, well hey look! I have a story. It only took forever. The thing is, I don't actually like to write that much. I love to read, but I'm a math person at heart. I love doing things once and being done with them. But, my muse, it seems, never got the I-Don't-Like-to-Write memo and keeps giving me ideas which I feel obligated to write on little pieces of paper to leave laying about my room. So right now I'm actually in the process of writing several stories not including my long list of half-baked plot ideas.
Conveniently for me, my friend (and beta) Constant Comment Tea actually likes to write and is willing to co-author things with me. Right now we have an Angel project in full swing. Actually, the only thing that stops me from feeding her all of my ideas is the fact that a lot of my ideas are a little too dark for her tastes. I have a nasty habit of killing people, or driving them insane, or torturing them in some way or another. You'd think I was depressed or something...(honestly, I'm not).
