I write either SxGxS – sweetxgoofyxsexy 3x5x3, or else it’s bittersweet angst. In either case I lean to serious shounen-ai, as opposed to just the grudging lust typical of most Sanzo/Gojyo fics. And why not, I say? Whoever said these two aren’t capable of falling truly madly deeply head over heels? Welcome to a whole new deviant flavor of the world of 3x5x3… I am OBSESSED with this pairing. And in my daydreams (hence also in my fics), they are madly, furiously in love. That’s why I label my stories Shounen-ai AND WAFF. Yaoi rocks, but I just find it more thrilling to think of having good old love mixed in. ‘Love’ Sanzo and Gojyo style, of course. (See “Barely Breathing"!) But it must be noted that outside of the parodies, Sanzo IS still reserved around the other guys – it’s only behind closed doors that he wears his heart on his sleeve. For Gojyo. I like to think that Gojyo finds redemption in Sanzo, and that Sanzo finds meaning to go on, in Gojyo. And yes, sweet readers, in a few of my stories, Hakuryu is a girl-dragon. I know perfectly well she’s really a he, but I just happened to read a fic where he’s a she, and I just liked the idea of Hakkai with a girl dragon… XP Plus, it turns out well for my crazy plots, so… Gomen, Hakuryu! 11/21/05 I am a deviant to the third degree: I write yaoi, Saiyuki yaoi on top of that; and with the extremely unlikely Sanzo/Gojyo pairing. But I take it even farther: I write Sanzo/Gojyo LOVE stories! Which isn’t to say that I stray too much from the character’s personalities – oh no – rest assured, Sanzo is still as surly as ever, and Gojyo is still – well, Gojyo is THE flirt, enough said. (I’ve written a special ‘epilogue’ for this arc, titled Sol Invictus, which just might result in a thread of its own, although it would be AU for future stories, if any.) - Longing 1: The Road Less Traveled - Longing 2: The Silent Path - Longing 3: The Sunset Road Naturally I’ve also created my very own parodies of the anime (Gensomaden, Reload and Gunlock), which are available elsewhere, as I was punished by fanfic dot net purely on account of a misunderstanding. (Boo-hoo-hoo…) These three are available at mediaminer dot org, and are titled Truly, Madly, Deeply , Episode 1: Truly Madly Deeply, and Truly Madly Deeply 4Ever. Also available at mediaminer is the collection of "censored" Sanzo/Gojyo smut deleted from my stories. (What a good friend calls "director's cuts" LOL). Actually the raw "script" of a chibi comic strip I'm working on, which will probably never get finished.
