So I go by a few names on the internetz - kikASSbabe (from my Quizilla days), xXfireXflyXx, and Megs. Don't care what you call me, really. I've been writing online since I was about 12 or 13, and now, almost ten years later, I'm still here. I love it. I love being a part of such a big, friendly community where people share a common interest in the genres that they write about. I don't think I'll ever post anything original online. It's not that I don't write original work, but I'm saving that. I want to get it published sometime soon and start a series of my own - one that I can sell to a reasonable price for fans of my work. I tend to write mainly in the Harry Potter genre, but I've branched out more since coming over to FF. My first story ever was a Van Helsing one back in 2002, and I've currently got one on the go that's probably got my favourite OC thus far. I tend to mainly focus on Dracula in the VH world, so I don't predict writing anything focused on the good guys. Actually, that's a fairly common theme - I love them baddies. Back to HP - I've got several ships I sail, but I can generally go for anything when there is a reason two characters that are together... For my own work, I like to give meticulous, detailed reasons for why, say, Voldemort and Minerva McGonagall would sail together. However, when I read other work, I'm waaay more lenient. Got a Lucius/Hermione story? Well written? COOL! Love it! But my personal favourite ships are - Voldemort/Bellatrix, Lucius/Narcissa, Draco/Hermione, Ron/Hermione (when I feel canon compliant I do like them a lot), Arthur/Molly... So I suppose my ships aren't too crazy. I try to update when I can. I thrive off feedback, and tend to get sidetracked with stories that get more reviews. HOWEVER. I'm trying to stay a little more rounded and get to everything equally. I'm also a full-time university student who works, and occasionally tries to have a social life... so things get busy. I have taken breaks that have lasted months before, but now that I'm so deep in the FF world, I don't think I'll be heading back there anytime soon. HOW TO READ MY 'HIM... A FATHER?'
