A Notice

Unfortunately for me, things in the university work department are really heating up. I have a ridiculous amount of hours and exams coming up in the months from January to May, not to mention the ridiculously time-consuming task of job hunting for a place in the Big Bad World as soon as I graduate.

So this is a notice of my impending (and indefinite) hiatus from FanFiction.net and an apology to my wonderful readers.

I’ll leave my account and stories up, because knowing my weaknesses and my insufferable muses, I will no doubt update a chapter or two of everything when the mood takes me. However, I cannot commit to regular updates – and while I usually fail at those anyway, I thought it best just to let you all know.

To anyone who has read and/or reviewed the product of my inconsistent brain, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and wish you well. Hopefully I’ll still see you when I do a random update.

About Me

I’m not particularly clever or important – I’m just a girl who likes to daydream. Surprisingly enough, this doesn’t impact on my studies as much as you would think, since I enjoy my degree just as much, but fan writing, fan drawing (and fan girling :3) is a welcome break from the grindstone of studying.

My Fictions

I used to be a big Beyblade writer, but of course that was years ago and I’ve grown up since then. However, the spinning top show does still hold an oddly special place in my heart, and though I’ve deleted old and discontinued fictions where my writing has made me cringe, I’ve kept the one-shots that I’ve gifted to various writers and kept Finding Takao, Winter’s Salvation and In the Snake Pit because I liked where those stories were going even if I am now stuck. (If you have any ideas and suggestions for those, please do review or message me with them :D!)

My main current projects are Just Trust Me (a Bleach fan fiction following the course of history around an original character, but don’t dismiss the OC too readily – she doesn’t steal the show, merely adds to some plot holes I dreamt up) and In the Shadows (a Final Fantasy VII fiction which I’ll detail more of later when I get the first chapter finished :D). I also have a couple of one-shots on the go as well.

Collaborative Fictions

After visiting her in Germany for a weekend, fantastic fiction author Fifi McFu and I were chilling out on a snowy Sunday when ever-imagining Ffi (who was engaged in a fairly heated Pokemon battle a la Platinum at the time) suddenly thought what would happen if Final Fantasy VII’s Cloud walked in on Zack playing Pokemon and we came up with and wrote Technical Difficulties together. My good friend and partner in crime Fifi McFu for some quality original writing for Kingdom Hearts, Bleach and Final Fantasy. The girl’s amazing and I love her to pieces – my escape in her imagination helps keep me sane.

Another partner in crime Demi-Goddess for some quality Zelda, Naruto and Beyblade writings, and with whom (via many MSN conversations) I first learnt to imagine outside the box.

I do spend a lot of time doing the odd doodle, and some of my better ones can be found at my DeviantART gallery - of course, right now I am scannerless but the linearts are still going up for various things.
