Challenge: Having accepted this challenge from a loyal reader named CrazyRedHead we after a discussion have decided to offer it to others. Harry Potter/Naruto challenge In this challenge, all you have to do is make it unique. Which means this 1. You can not have Naruto or any Shinobi hired by the wizards to guard Harry, Dumbledore, Hogwarts, so forth and so forth. It's been done to death. 2. You can not have Harry just dropped in and raised by some long lost relative of the following clans and or people. a. Uchiha clan... Folks just because Harry has black hair does not have to mean he must be related to people with black hair. There is far to many of those all ready. b. Sakura Haruno... Been done to death as well because of the green eyes. Newsflash folks, same principle applies. Just because Harry has them doesn't mean his relative has to. c. Minato Namikaze... Okay just because he sacrificed his life for Naruto as Lily did for Harry does not mean they have to be related either folks! Give it a rest! d. Orichimaru... Same as Minato. Just because Harry can talk to snakes does not make him automatically related! 3. No wizard can be a ninja, no ninja can be a wizard. That's been done far to much already now. If they must learn anything it can be any kind of weapons discipline, Taijutsu, and potions and or healing skills that do not require magic or chakra can be exchanged. Any questions may be shot towards me for any finer details. But if anything considering I accepted it myself in the first place. you may use my story Parallel which is the response her challenge as an example of what you may do. RANT! People do us writers a favor and grow up. I am addressing this here and now and giving you seem keen incites into why some of your favorites don't write anymore. A. We write the story not bloody you. Here is a perfect example of someone who refuses to see it. Again, I am hating on the 'bash on Ginny' fest here. The fact is that Ginny joined the Death Eaters to try to kill Voldemort... how in the F can Harry blame her for that? It just doesn't make sense to me at all... it also didn't make sense to the other 30 people who I had read the story... it's like blaming a Army officer for joining a terrorist cell when he was order to or did so in order to protect his comrades... just doesn't make sense in the real world. It's about time for you to realize that you are enforcing the absolute WORSE traits of Harry in this story, not his best. And as to the 'outgrowing his saving people complex'... he never had one. Frankly, even if I DETESTED someone, I would try to save them as well... I wouldn't call that a 'saving people' complex In the case above I firmly believe this one does not check history as their are several hostage cases and infiltrated mafia cases where that situation did INDEED HAPPEN! The perfect example is Patty Hearst from the 1970's. She was a victim of a kidnapping who was with the group so long. She joined them! It's called STOCKHOLM SYNDROME! So don't complain about something you don't like. Because quite frankly we really don't give a damn and you will be surprised when we can disaprove it with actual historical fact. But if we hear your complaints constantly enough. Guess what. We are gonna quit eventually and take it elsewhere. I can tell of three writers in Inuyasha and Naruto whom I am huge fans of, who have done just that. Simply because people refuse to grow up and remember this is ONLY A STORY! B. Watch your reviews. You claim to be helping, but I will share something with you. This is not HELPING! You are an absolute . you. I should hunt you down ad kill you. This is just one example..Its not a review. Its a threat “Very good, but there is no way Sasuke, could ever be even touched by Bra’tac. Sasuke would have him down in less time then it would take him to blink. Sharingan can see everything. Nothing can get past it. Also Sasuke can move faster then the eye can see, Bra’tac wouldn’t stand a chance.” This is also not another example of helping and it also ties in to the first one. For we writers have our theories and to be told something can't happen, because so and so is all powerful? Makes us think...great we have someone who thinks they're right and we are wrong. And last but certainly not least. Although it is barely shy of tolerable this one is patronizing and NOT helpful. somewhat dissappointed if I'm very honest, there's nothing WRONG with your fic, but somehow it seems a bit wrong.. I don't think Naruto would be that angry, he would probably shut down or something instead of comprehending so quickly, besides he's actually quite forgiving as a person and wouldn't blame miroku so much because he would be used to being let down by now even if it will hurt, besides understanding would hurt miroku even more than anger, guilt trip mah. but anyways this is only my opinion and I guess everyone has their own interpretation of naruto Get the picture...those Bad. C... Some of us were not good writers in school. I especially failed my English course because of an inability to write good stories or poems in class. We have the ideas but not the skill to express ourselves. So we try and we ask for help. But when we don't get Betas or someone at least willing to aide us. DON'T COMPLAIN ABOUT it. Do something. Don't get on your high and mighty everything must be perfect horse. OFFER TO HELP! D... People another reason why some people will leave a site and take their stories with them is this. Yet another story that bashes on these people for calling for Naruto's death? Allow me to make a point: with all the 'Kill the DEMONS!" stuff that the various religions push today... what do you think would be done in real life if a child was found to have a demon sealed inside of them? OFF WITH THE HEAD! (sing this with me) So, don't blame this solely on these people or bash on them. Blame the people who cannot seem to realize that demon /= evil and cannot seem to understand that humans can do JUST AS MUCH HARM as any 'demon' can, if not more. This person is a close minded bigot against any story that does not conform to his wishes. You must remember we don't mind criticism, but we do get tired of preachy holier then thou attitudes when we write because WE ARE THE ONES WRITING! Not you...not him...we are. We normally do not mind people speaking up and saying something is wrong. But this person who is also responsible for Letter A can not seem to grasp that.
