Author has written 2 stories for Card Captor Sakura.

Name: Firalyn Tiatra (pen name; character created by a friend and I)

Likes: photography, reading/writing, music, soccer... among other things.

I love writing; I'm sort of used to writing poems and little plays off of stuff that has happened to me or creating my own characters and situations. I think I'm getting the hang of it...slowly, but surely. My friends like my writing, but that may be because they are my friends; I don't know. That's one of the reasons I joined this site; it's a test of my writing. Anyway, I won't say "go easy on me 'cause I'm new", because constructive criticism is healthy, and it tells me what I need to work on. I will not appreciate flat-out flames, though; anyway, thanks for visiting my humble site. Enjoy!

Who am I? Well, my pen name's Firalyn Tiatra, based off a character created by a friend and I, but who I am is a bit more complicated than that. I'm a fairly simple girl who likes to read and write, among other things. I'm a bit of a procrastinator, which is why my stories haven't been updated in over two years-- well, that and I think my muse decided to go visit some other aspiring fanfic author because I wasn't listening to her.
I have a sarcastic sense of humor, which likely comes through in what I write, and reviews I leave. I have no idea why I was attempting to write a story that involves romance, because it's hard to write that which you have not experienced. That is why my stories both border "cutesy" and "fluff": I'm writing off an idealized version, instead of basing it off real experience.
I like advice and critiques, so feel to leave any, if that's your fancy.

Note to readers:

Hello to one and all! I realize that it's been almost two years since I updated my profile, so I figured it might be a good idea to go ahead and do that. I've been active in that two years, though; mostly reading and reviewing. Somewhere along the way I got hooked on this fanfiction stuff, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

As for my writing... well, that's less of a good note. I haven't done much with either Can I Say Goodbye or A Walk in the Rain. Over the summer I've had ample time to sit down and write, but found that it's hard to do that when one's muse has all but disappeared. There were several times I sat down and re-read the chapters and fragments of future chapters, trying to get back into the rhythm of the story, but I'm still having trouble. I still have a couple little one-shots laying around in my computer files, but I don't know I want to post them until I've gotten back on my feet with my first story.
So as of now, classes start next week; I've decided I'm going to try and make it a priority to pick back up.

I still need to work on my planning and writing skills, so thank you for being patient and bearing with me. Feedback/critique is always welcome, because that's how I learn. That's all for now... thanks for taking the time to stop by my page and/or reading my stories!
