Yours truly has gotten an el jay. For general wittering, drabbles, and (yaoi) works in progress.
Well...
I like to take my notes in pen. Just because. I'm bilingual. I like music. I like art. I like writing. I play the piano (pretty well). I play the violin (not at all well). I can't sing. I'm tone-deaf. I'm good at math. I'm semi-good at science. I'm a mess when it comes to music theory. I love tea and apples and strawberry jam and orange juice with pulp and sweet things and chocolate. I like Chopin and Mozart and Beethoven. I despise Bach. There is a reason, I believe, the Baroque period ended with him. Pachelbel was a genius. So is Andrew Lloyd Webber. Phantom was beautiful.
I like hot chocolate on cold, winter mornings. I have difficulty getting out of bed. I'm not a morning person. I'm quite lazy. I'm a skilled procrastinator. I like messy foods. My English teacher believes me to be anal-retentive; my Civics teacher believes me to be obnoxious; my lab partner believes me to be obssessive-compulsive; my best friend believes me to be a Bedlam-escapee; I believe I am none of the above.
I'm quite silly sometimes. I can be loud. I get horrible stage fright. I have a terrible tendency to ramble. Sometimes, I alliterate. I don't like sentences that rhyme unless it's in a poem. I don't like poems that don't rhyme or have rhythm. I don't understand blank verse. I don't like Romeo and Juliet. Much Ado About Nothing was brilliant. Proper grammar is overrated. Kurt Vonnegut is awesome. Ernest Hemingway is deep. Poignancy is wonderful.
Reviewers brighten my world.
"Whenever I apply myself to writing, literature comes between us."
~Jules Renard
"Tweedledee: Contrariwise. If it is so, it may be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic."
~Lewis Carroll, Through the Looking Glass
"The world is not respectable; it is mortal, tormented, confused, deluded forever; but it is shot through with beauty, with love, with glints of courage and laughter; and in these, the spirit blooms timidly, and struggles to light amid the thorns."
~George Santayana
"Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society."
~Mark Twain
"I'm tired of all this nonsense of beauty being only skin deep. That's deep enough. What do you want? An adorable pancreas?"
~Jean Kerr

go the converse for Ori (4/30 complete): I have nothing to say about this except it was supposed to be a nice little tame ten-sectioned one-shot. Then it got on steroids. Apologies, Ori - this one is going to take awhile.
