My name is Laura and I come from Western Australia, one of the remotest and loveliest spots you can find. I'm a uni student majoring in Asian studies and as you may guess part of that includes studying Indonesian. I love learning languages and hope to be a successful linguist one day.

Writing is pet hobby of mine and when uninspired I turn to fan-fiction, which I find provides nice little worlds already developed by wonderful authors which people can play around with. The other reason I place my stories here is that is gives me a goal to worked towards and thus pushes me to keep writing.

I am an Anglican, which for those who don't know is a denomination of Christianity. There are plenty of us Christians out there that love Harry Potter (as I am sure many of you know) and I think it is important that we show ourselves, to prove that not all Christians think Harry Potter is demon spawn heresy.

Apart from writing, in my spare time I also enjoy singing. I'm being classically trained as a high soprano and love every minute of it. I'm an avid reader and patron of the arts, so I love musicals, opera, ballet, theatre and some art. I watch far too much t.v. for my own good and I still complain about not having foxtel. Animals are awesome and I have five pets (two dogs, three cats). My uni is the only one in the state (and one of the few in Australia) to have a vet science course, so it is no suprise to seen dogs, cats, horses, sheep, cows and llamas wandering around campus or at the local cafe with vet students.

So that is a basic summary of me! Now onto the other stuff...

A couple of things to note about my fan-fictions.

Spellings will be different from to what some of you are used to and that won't change. I've had complaints before so I thought I would clarify that.

Although by placing my stories online I am displaying my work for people read, that is not why these a posted. I don't post my work in order to recieve reviews. I believe that if someone thinks one of my stories is worth making a review, they will and I will greatly appreciate all of them. So while reviews are lovely, please do not feel they are necessary.

That being said, I welcome all criticisms. They make me a better a writer so please let me know if you notice something you think needs to be fixed in one of my stories.

My stories are updated sporadically. Besides the usual reason for delayed posts (having a life outside writing fan-fiction) with all my stories I write them first by hand and then type them up at a later time. While this may not make sense to many I find when I am inspired with an idea for a story or chapter it is much more convenient to write it in my prose book than to rush over to my computer, start it up and then begin, I lose my train of thought. Due to this my stories take longer for me to post so please be patient.

My Ships

As you may have worked out, I am a passionate Draco/Pansy shipper. We seem to be few and far between, but the other D/P shippers I have found seem to be just as, and in some cases even more loyal to the ship as I, despite recent interviews concerning Draco's marital status... (let's not go there, shall we?). I fell in love with Pansy through fan fiction, and I owe it to all the wonderful D/P fan fiction authors who have taken her character who has such little background and developed her wonderfully. I also don't mind reading some Pansy/Blaise stuff, but I need to be in the mood for it.

Although not completed, Muggle Studies is a fantastic fan fiction. It follows Draco and Pansy as they fall for eachother while having to attend muggle studies class. Some great Lucius and Narcissa moments with Draco and Pansy too!

A very sophisticated and dark Draco/Pansy fic. The plot is absolutely terrific and it's a wonderfully long fan fiction too, with long chapters.

For those of you who love Draco and Pansy fighting/hating eachother with underlying sexual tension, this is for you! This fan fiction is hillariously funny and is probably one of stories that led to the coining of the term "Snitch and Bitch" to describe D/P.

Probably one of my favourite Draco/Pansy fan fictions. Probably because there is genuine friendship between Draco and Pansy before any romance, the characters are believable and it is incredibly well written. Unfortunately it is not finished... but I'm trying to change that. If you read it too, you can help me beg the author to keep going with it!
