I'm a big fan of science fiction and mystery. My favorite real life authors at the moment are Agatha Christie, Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, and John Le Carre. My main fandoms are Star Trek (DS9 at the mo') and Doctor Who. I generally write one-shots because I have a short attention span, though I occasionally try my hand at something longer. None of these longer things have yet been finished, so you can tell how successful that generally is. I also really enjoy Star Wars, Firefly, Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, and Lord of the Rings, which I dabble in occasionally. My two new favorites are The Big Bang Theory and Criminal Minds. As far as genre of fic, most of what I write is either character study or friendship piece. I'll ship anything regardless of gender or species of participants (within reason), but I usually don't write it. I'm afraid that if I have a romantic bone in my body, it's one of those little ones in the inner ear. The few times I have written anything pairing-wise, I have written mostly het (Doctor/Romana, primarily). I'm working on adding more slash to my "resume,"probably in the form of heavily implied Garak/Bashir.
