Author has written 24 stories for Teen Titans, Pokemon, and Ruby Gloom. REVIEWS PLEASE? Story Notes (Most recent at the top.) After nearly four months, I have FINALLY managed to update Dove's Dark Discovery! -huge sigh of relief- On the same topic, I don't think Dove's Dark Discovery is moving quickly enough. I'm elaborating too much, it's not as suspenseful as I have always imagined, and I think I'm losing the pure-emotion feel that I was aiming for since the beginning. And since nobody is REVIEWING, insert impatient glance around here, I only have my own instincts to go on for this one. I hope to have chapter ten up in less than two weeks. Due to countless character renovations and many changes in my writing style, Kary the Wanderer will be resumed immediately when I finish the story after Dove's Dark Discovery and have a chance to wrap up the trilogy. Edit: I will DEFINITELY be rewriting what I have done. The current version will be kept in a collection of "deleted scenes' that I plan on publishing soon though, so don't worry, it won't be gone forever. Dove's Dark Discovery will be slower as far as updates go. I know EXACTLY what I want to happen, but most of it is emotional territory I rarely let myself venture into, even within the confines of my own mind. I tread carefully, and I don't think you'll be disappointed. The rising action has really begun... Unforeseen Surprises and Sketchbook Story: Mystery Sickness have been renovated. I took care of grammatical, spelling, and 'newbie' errors. A sentence may be added here or there, but besides that, I promise it's still going to be the same story. (I kind of like looking back on my older stories and noticing how much I've improved anyways, and changing too much would take that away from me.) Chapter 7 of Dove's Dark Discovery was successfully edited and the chapter updated. Updates warning: I tend to obsess over a certain story at a time. Lately it's been mostly Dove's Dark Discovery. Also, procrastinator warning: I get many MANY ideas and don't really get around to them until about a year later. Misery's Company is... hard for me to write right now, due to personal reasons and the way I write. Please don't hate me for the slow updates and short chapters; I will get back to it as soon as possible, I promise! Dove's character bio has been completely rewritten. It's far better than the original version, and she no longer seems like a Raven clone. Plus, I've added a new comparison chapter to help the readers get the idea of exactly how different they are... ...some fresh reviews would be nice. It might be awhile before I update on Srentha pt. II. I want to get the Toes stories out of the way first, and I don't want the story to spoil anything. (Unless you guys don't mind the spoilers, then PM me and I'll get it updated as soon as I can...) Srentha's character bio is officially up! Check it out for his back-story and a more detailed description of his appearance. Kary's debut is officially published! I thought about waiting until the Toes trilogy was done, but decided I didn't need to... Feel free to read Kary the Wanderer! Unfortunately, updates, again, have been delayed by flashdrive issues... My story immediately after that is all planned out, so I'll be having a great streak once Toes Trilogy III is done (which might take awhile)! Though I have to admit, I'm kinda working on how to get it all to flow together, not like isolated incidents... The story after Kary comes in is entitled Spellbound pt. II. Obviously it's loosely based off of the episode, but it has what I consider to be a sadder twist, and a few of the emotions in the episode are rearranged. And, well, it's Dove's fairy tale with a not-so-happily ever after, not Raven's. A Work of Magic has exactly 10,000 words for the first three chapters (including the prologue) - wow, that's interesting... Hm... I have... ideas... such as a story involving me and Raven and a certain incident, and... Well, that's all so far, besides emotional attachment... Coming if and when I finally find time to write it. XD Also, Pokemon character bios are a big MAYBE. Unfortunately I don't think I have the time or fanatically-fueled effort anymore to do it right now... /o.o\ Also, I have a oneshot diary-entry type thing for Dove... I'll have it posted as soon as I have some spare time - I can get that one typed up in an hour! ...unfortunately, there's barely enough time to go around with the main stories, so off-side ones are kinda put aside and saved for later. I am above all a fan of Teen Titans, namely Raven, but immediately below it on my "obsessions" ladder is Evanescence. Amy Lee's voice is amazing! And the lyrics she writes are so real and heartfelt, and I can't begin to say how awesome the music is! If I was a boy, Amy would be my love for life. And I'd be so upset that she's MARRIED. But I'm not, so I'm ecstatic for her. It's excellent for her (and Josh)! By the way, she is NOT Amy Lee anymore, as of 5-6-07. She's now Mrs. Amy Hatzler. Congratulations Amy, may your marriage be the fulfillment of all your wishes and dreams! Simply put, Amy Lee and Raven are my idols. Reason being that - basically - it's good to know there's someone who makes you not the only one, and empathy is the cure for any sadness! Raven has all of my personality traits and Amy is goofy (when not on stage) and carries a lot of sadness, and writes as a form of theropy. And, not to be vain, but I have a pretty good voice. I hope that someday I will have the ability to sing like Tarja Turunen, as far as ability goes... My writing time is back! 8D Expect updates to resume normal schedule - meaning about a month between. The only exception is Dave's Dark Discovery; writing for that one is getting harder and harder, but I'm slowly getting through it... I will be playing catch-up furiously for the next three months to make up for the lack of writing, both for myself and my readers. : My deviantart account, have a look at my art and maybe tell me what you think, I love hearing feedback! Spellbound Profile Break Anyone know the translations of the spells...? Here they are: (yes, I've memorized them - Spellbound is one of my absolute favorite episodes! I know, I'm strange, so give me a break.) Powers: Necronom Hezbarek Mortyx! (Thanks for the corrections, everyone.) Trap in the book: Alderon Enlenthra nalthos Sola leris Nor! (or something...) Release from the book: Hezberek et morena Gos(t)wenthin verbis nex... In obrium bis pendrule Paran sic cortis REX!! I have about 4/5 of it translated at the moment, but those Hezbarek and "Gostwenthin" parts are really stumping me... hmmm... () () Grrr... Evil, EVIL EVIL!! Malchior actually - loosely translated from Latin (the magick/spell language for that entire episode) - means "more evil." How the heck did Raven not notice that?! It must've been that she was reading the book that had him as the good guy before she actually met him... ..um. -ahem- ~Profile break over~ There's a story I've been trying to find for three years now, and I'm starting to give up hope... It's a songfic - I think it's called New Azarath, but I can't find it on Google or the search. Basically, Azarath is destroyed and Raven and a few childhood friends try to rebuild it. There's a description of the destruction scene and Raven's empathy going berserk, Robin is feeling empathetic discomfort for her but he isn't aware of it and thinks it's just indigestion, and the story opens with Raven listening to music and painting. There's a character named Sion and I can barely remember anything more than painting. I do remember a scene where RAven has what I call 'an empathy attack' from the pain of the Azaratheans during her homeland's destruction... FYI, I think it's a songfic, but if not, they have quotes from songs. If you know anything about how to get to this story, please please PLEASE contact me. I'd really appreciate it. Seriously. ...please...? Check out the stories on my favorite list if you have the time. They're either really good or emotional. I recommend My Sweet Raven to Raven lovers or anyone who liked "Spellbound." Once Broken, Twice Shattered is truly an absolutely amazing story; I'd suggest it for anyone who can take anything even partly seriously. And Cowardice is awesome! It's a breath of fresh air and a beautiful taste of reality. Also, the story about the Lost season of Teen Titans is amazing, it really is like watching an episode. (And Cursed is my personal favorite episode - absolutely beautiful characterization and such deep, resounding words... It was like the writers themselves wrote it...) REVIEWS, PEOPLE!! Please? My story Unforeseen Surprises has 1747 hits and only 6 reviews. You can understand my confusion, right? I usually write "Review please" at the end of every chapter, so you can't always forget... At least a word or two would be nice... Please...? ABOUT ME Gender: Girl Born: March 30 (The year shall never be revealed for the internet's eyes...) Favorite song: Too hard; anything by Evanescence, and it depends on my mood. Then there's Nightwish, the first version I don't dislike her, but I'm not an Anette fan... or Within Temptation... and Tarja Turunen... Favorite color: blue, indigo, and violet. Silver and black are favorites too, when used right. Favorite movie: Do music videos count? Same as above for the bands, and if not, Teen Titans: Trouble inTokyo. Or if not, then definitely either The Covenent, The Craft, Edward Scissorhands, or Daredevil. Favorite websites: evanescence.com, evanescencereference.info, evfanclub.com, titansgo.net, fanfiction.net (obviously), youtube.com, anatheria.com... and of course deviantart.com. As far as which one is on the top of the list, well... it really depends on my mood. I spend most of my computer time on Microsoft Word. Favorite place: "My field of paper flowers." - Imaginary, Evanescence (Sorry if you don't get that; reality is harsh, so I prefer my own imaginary places to the real world. Or at least a place where I'm alone and I can just let go.) ...or 'the meadow'... It's personal. Favorite book: James A. Hetley's books. 8D "The Summer Country" and "The Winter Oak" were probably the most amazing books I've ever read. 8D Others on the list include... let's see... "Killing With the Edge of the Moon," or something by Edgar Allen Poe... Or maybe the "stories" in Ev. songs... "The Book Without Words," by Avi...? I read way too much to choose. Favorite comic series: New Teen Titans, the 80's version of Teen Titans created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, definitely the best team of creators ever. Favorite fanfics: Once Broken, Twice Shattered, The Lost Season of Teen Titans (the epsiode Cursed), and My Sweet Raven What I won't believe: You've never heard an Evanescence song. BMTL, Call Me When You're Sober, and Tourniquet were all so popular and on the radio quite a lot! Except Tourniquet - it was only on 95.5 (Christian station - my mother listens to it every so often) a few times. Call Me When You're Sober actually was #48 on the top 100 list of 2006 on 98.1 and Bring Me to Life won an award for best rock song in 2003. Not to mention the band got Sweet Sacrifice on the radio... Evanescence was also on top of the Billboard lists for over a year for BMTL. There are other things I enjoy but can't exactly write fanfics for because I'm not that inspired. Harry Potter (I like it, but I don't pay much attention to HP anymore), the DC Teen Titans comics, writing fanfiction (obviously), reading/writing poetry, reading (my room is filled with bookshelves and boxes of books), sushi, Japan and all its cultural aspects, and to be honest, I enjoy proving to my sister that she's wrong (hey, it's a big sibling's job), I don't get too into movies (unless it's one of my favorites - I have weird standards,) having snappy comebacks to my sister's remarks and lame jokes (she's a BB fan...), I really enjoy my alone time (seriously), especially when I'm writing, and I can't help but enjoy learning anything about my obsessions. I've fallen in absolute love with the Pokemon Misdreavus. I'm not sure exactly why, but when I saw my brother playing as it on Pokemon Stadium 2, I couldn't help thinking, "Oh, it's so cute!" Then I started researching it and I giggled a couple of times at how she loves sneaking up on people just to see their reactions, then did more research on Wikipedia and I became pretty obsessed. I'm defenseless against the cute awesomeness of its ghostly powers. Not to mention it evolves into a pretty cool-looking Pokemon! Mismagius is every bit as awesome as she is! It's really a hard decision as far as which one is my absolute favorite... But Misdreavus wins it because she's the one that opened my eyes to their wonders... -sigh- I wish there were more than 2 Mismagius fanfics out there... Miguelzinho was right in his review... They're so overlooked... (Even by myself when I was younger.) Recently I became a huge Ruby Gloom fan! Thanks to greenaliencutebabe on DeviantArt, I've taken up the addiction with arms open in a huge hug! (If she happens to be reading this, know you have my eternal thanks.) My favorite character is definitely Misery, she's just so cute and sweet... I've also taken a liking to KoRn, courtesy of Amy Lee's constant raving about them and my dad getting me officially hooked. Wow those songs get stuck in your head! Nightwish takes second place on the ladder of muscial obsession, Within Temptation right next to them. (I hope I don't start an argument here, but) I'm 48 Anette, and 52 Tarja. I really miss Tarja, and I wish I could find one single place that sells her material in this country... (Non-Nightwish fans, just look on any YouTube video with Nightwish and if you read the comments, you'll understand, there's ALWAYS an argument going on about them...) I hate/dislike: Beast Boy (he has his moments, but you don't spell funny with the letters in A-N-N-O-Y-I-N-G), Terra (I actually don't know what to think of her), and the cartoon BB/Ray pairing. Although I'm confused about that since I've read Once Broken, Twice Shattered... The comics? Heck yes, it's kinda obvious that they're a semi-pairing. But I'm not sure about the cartoon. And tofu. Especially tofu. My best real-life friend in the entire world (AKA psychotic potatoes), is one of my best - and, er, just about only - writing partner. She'll be coming up in A Work of Magic eventually, and she helped me design the original Kary and Dove... even though I revised them so much they're barely recognizable, especially Kary's appearance... -_-; Sorry PP (she really didn't think that one through XD), I need to get character development somehow... And since I mentioned her, I have to say something about another friend of mine... It's possible (probably way later down the line) that there will be a really random story with something about Fishboy - who is actually my sister, Russian Roulette the Villain, and Ornithol the 11th century witch... and System of a Down... and Saundra living her dreams with Daron Malachian.. (-_-) Tread carefully, for it might scar any fragile minds... o.o Best Quotes Ever Anything "dissing" BB or sarcastic that comes out of Raven's mouth. Oh yeah, and this one: Raven: You may have created me... (her eyes start glowing, then she has a growth spurt that makes you say "Didn't see that coming...") ...But you were never my father. (she blasts Trigon, obviously daddy-not-so-dearest) Trigon: Wretched, insignificant - ! (ZAP!) Raven: Fathers are kind. (ZAP!) Fathers protect you. (ZAP!) Fathers raise you. (ZAP!) I was protected by the monks of Azarath - (she joins hands with the other Titans) - and I was raised by my friends. They are my family. (she starts rising into the air) This is my home. And you are not welcome here! Azarath Metrion ZINTHOS! (Big white bird-looking soul-self thing comes out and ZAPS Trigon once and for all!) Oh, the triumph I feel even as I type it!! And the mentioning the monks of Azarath part, that was just cool! It's a shame it's the only real hint at her past the TT crew gives us... (Not like I don't already know enough about her to cram it into 7 1/2 episodes, but I'd still like to see how they would show it...) Ninety-five percent of the kids out there are concerned with being popular and fitting in. If you're part of the five percent who aren't, copy this, put it in your profile, and add your name to the list.
