Author has written 8 stories for Harry Potter, Final Fantasy X, Legend of Zelda, Escaflowne, Gundam Wing/AC, and Firefly. But my friends...just call me Ed! Oedipus Tex has many interests, all of them legal. Oedipus Tex, despite what you may have heard, is female. Oedipus Tex did not marry Mom, nor kill Dad. Oedipus Tex is American, but has not actually been to Texas (edit: HAS been to Texas). Oedipus Tex likes anime, Harry Potter, and those nasty pudding snacks that burn as they go down. Oedipus Tex says "Howdy" and wishes you well. Brief notes on stories: The Day Link Grew Up was written a LONG time ago--like, years ago. Silly and something I wouldn't write now. So was Snape's Revenge, which was written in between publication of the fourth and fifth books, before certain characters met untimely (but not necessarily regrettable) ends. (Alright, Oedipus Tex admits she isn't Dog-man's biggest fan.) Therefore, there's a lot of canonical inaccuracies in it--especially since the publication of the sixth book. But it's still good for a quick read. Journey of the Fallen was begun many many years ago, and then dropped like a hot potato around chapter two or three, because Oedipus Tex got distracted reading somebody else's story. This is why Journey is kinda weird. The story is truly more like a bunch of one shots thrown together, to explain (honestly, to myself) a few of the things I always thought about what went on with Auron. Auron in Zanarkand is just a little one-shot about exactly what it sounds like--it goes into the realm of idiocy. Ah, nidrig corrects me on my french in there, which I am grateful for, because I don't speak a lick of french. Let this be a lesson to you all--don't use the Internet as your etymological source! It will fool you every time! Poor Dilandau, no wonder he's nuts. Alteration is about a full nut-job in a full nutty situation. There are some bad characters who do bad things, and some good characters who do bad things, and some other characters that try to do bad things, but can't seem to do them right. Hands: featuring CONFUSED! Heero. Really, who can blame him? With a family like that...who needs one. Don't tell me that Heero's OOC; I just figured if I were in his situation, I'd be OOC too. What He Had Said is me exploring the train wreck that is Jayne/River. So weird, so strange, but so messed up it might actually work. Happiness is surfing to some random someone's fanfic rec page and finding your own fic there. Save a writer; write a review! Of course reviews are appreciated, because it makes it seem that people aren't reading my stuff because they are masochists (it also makes me feel like I'm not a sadist). UPDATE 11/8/09--I'm thinking about making a sequel to "Hands", and would be willing to take suggestions, ideas, etc if anyone has them. Please note that this isn't a promise that a sequel will come, because I am notorius for not finishing what I've started because I am a lazy bum. I also write veeeery slowly.
