Writing is my life, my ultimate dream career and the reason why I got a $15,000 a year scholarship for a super expensive school. I take writing very seriously, and I don't think that I have to say any more than that.

I like it enough that it's lasted through the years and is still my "Internet Name" today. I can't quite remember where the 789 came from, but I've used those numbers in my usernames for so many years now that those numbers are a sort of symbol I use to represent myself.

My Life

My life mostly consists of college, homework, and more homework. And work. I play video games too much. When I have the impulse, I draw. I read a lot. My iPod is stuck in my ears whenever I can have it stuck in my ears. I spend days on end glued (almost quite literally) to completing a papercraft model. Somewhere between all of that, I write.

And that is my life. Let's just say that, in the last few years, I've learned the beautiful art of time management.

Fandoms

The fandoms that I follow are far too numerous for me to talk about all of them. Here is what I'm currently a huge fan of/trying to follow:

Fire Emblem

I have been obsessed with this series since the day I played my first FE game (Path of Radiance). I simply love a good strategy game. Fire Emblem is all of that and so much more. I've played every game that has been translated,which includes FEs 7-11. I've also played FE6 via ROM and patch file.

DragonBall/Z

I can't stand GT, but I love the original DragonBall and DBZ. After being surrounded by the anime for 7 years, I finally decided to get into it and it opened up many, many, many doors for me. It was the anime that got me into anime.

One Piece

I have been in love with this manga since the first chapter. It's made me bawl my eyes out. It's made me laugh out loud. It's made me think about the world in completely new ways. It completely dominated my high expectations. One Piece turned my world upside down for the better. Words can't begin to describe what Luffy's done for me.

Final Fantasy

I've played and completed I,III,IV,VII,VIII and X, I never quite completed X-2, and I own XII but have yet to play it. What can I say? Just a great series overall. It's hard not to love Final Fantasy.

Kingdom Hearts

I love Disney movies. I love Final Fantasy. So what better crossover could there be...? 'Nuff said. :

Xiaolin Showdown

I watched this show religiously as a preteen and, thanks to a random impulse at midnight on a Saturday night, I got back into it. XS was absolutely hysterical. It's a shame they don't make cartoons like it anymore.

Metal Gear

MG is my latest fandom. So far, I've only finished Metal Gear Solid because my PS2 is old and cranky and decided that it doesn't like MGS2. As a result, I am instead playing the original Metal Gear games via ROM and Emulator. Anyway, MG always has been, and (I hope) always will be, a huge chunk of the best that gaming has to offer. It is an honor to step into the mind of Hideo Kojima. I cannot wait to experience the remaining games.

Current Writing Status

1) Creative Writing class has inspired me to write some short One Piece stories to practice my description, dialogue, and, and staying-in-character skills. So... there will be some One Piece stuff.

2) Planning on rewriting Her Quest to be Happy. Yeah. I'm working on that. Probably going to be a lot of work... as I plan to add huge chunks of plot.

Of course, I have some other ideas scribbled out on my computer, but those are the only definite stories at this point.
