Congratulations to the Detroit Red Wings on winning the Stanley Cup for the umpteenth time. (Can't remember how many this makes.) Dark Ace has decided he likes this team. I'm sure he would love to have Holmstrom under his command. However, I don't see any of them becoming Talons anytime soon.

Finally started working on chapter five of "Dark Storm Rising." I had some other stuff here but the internet is being pissy and I don't feel like retyping it.
An evil plot bunny has appeared. Those of you that read The Last Night are going to kill me. I'm rewriting Withered Souls (the original will stay up, though). However, I'm replacing my oc with Finn. Don't hurt me. It's the evil plot bunny. Yes, Finn once again will betray the Storm Hawks. (dodges flying object) Much of the content from the original will be in it, but there will be a number of additions. It will also be in third person. I don't know when I'll get around to really working on it as my brain has been eaten by my latest endeavor, A Little of This, A Little of That. Ahhh! It's the evil plot bunny! Back! Back!
Working on chapter three for both Black Bayou Burning and As I Lay Dying. I'm taking a small break. Writing and typing up The Last Night did me in and I know there are people who want to kill me. Heh-heh.
Pairings Preferences (Revised Edition)
Here's the new version. Dark Ace/Ravess; borderline obsessive (and I use "borderline" loosely) on this one and there's nothing anyone can do to change my mind. Dark Ace/Starling; I've used this once and probably the only time, but who knows. (For reason, see previous statement.) Aerrow/Piper; because I do. Finn/Piper; I don't mind this one. I've read some good stories with this one. Finn/Master Cyclonis(Lark); Don't ask. I don't know.
Pairings I say "whatev" to: Stork/Piper (just weird); Dark Ace/Piper (although, that one's really starting to creep me out.); Starling/Harrier (although I do pray for Starling in this one. I mean, come on, it's Harrier. Starling would probably kill him. In that case, I should probably pray for Harrier); Starling/Repton - o.O?; Starling/Aerrow & Starling/Finn - whatever floats your boat; Suzi-Lu/Snipe-I say again o.O?
Pairings that I despise with a fiery intensity so great it could make the sun explode and plunge us all into eternal darkness...or not: Dark Ace/Cyclonis; just kill me now. Aside from the fact that he's twice her age (yes, it is much of an age thing; theirs and mine and yes he is also twice Piper's age, but-oh, just leave me alone)) it's too much of a master/servent relationship and while I have no doubt that he does care for her, I just don't see it. However, if you are hooked on this pairing (teenagers...really) write whatever you want. I'm no authority on what people can and can't write. This is my opinion.
I hate any yaoi, yuri stuff, mainly because NONE OF THE CHARACTERS ARE GAY! At least not on Storm Hawks. Just so you know. (And don't even think about accusing me of being prejudice. Not that I ever have been. ...Okay, I'm done.) And no het. It gives me bad thoughts. I may be Christian, but I'm still human.
There is one pairing that I've implied a few times and will eventually go through with. Starling/Hamish. Yes, I realize Hamish was only in one episode (but so was Harrier) and had no interaction with any main characters, but he's so frackin' adorable. And I don't know why with Starling. It just works for me.
As for other characters, I haven't thought much about it.

Why I write: I like to. I owe a lot to my third grade teacher, Meg Connors. She gave me a stepping stone with "squiggles." We had "squiggle notebooks." She would make some weird little thing on one page and we had to draw something from it and then write a story about it. It also helps me express myself. I can let people know how I feel through my characters (or borrowed characters, in the case of fanfiction). I also like to annoy people. If you can't annoy someone, there's little point in writing. Ha! I love that!
