Me?

I'm not all that interesting, really. I'm blonde, 17, live in the Bay Area of California, and generally have too much time on my hands, as it is summer and far too hot to attempt to be alive. So I sit here, and write, and generally ramble on. And that's about it.

My Name?

My pen name, Mavrick, is sort of a double-meaning. On one hand, Mavrick is the call-sign of Tom Cruz's character in the hit movie Top Gun, which is one of my favorites. On the other hand, 'maverick' is the word I'd use to describe myself if I had to pick only one word.

I've spelled it m-a-v-r-i-c-k instead of m-a-v-e-r-i-c-k because I found that most people find it easier to say it correctly without the 'e'. Really, what are they teaching in reading class now-a-days? Silent 'e', everyone.

I'm sure you're asking yourself why on earth I told you all of that. No reason, really. I just thought it might be fun to waist your time, since I've got nothing to do at the moment. Now, go, enjoy!

Just to clear up a few things, I've been on FF.N before under two other pen names, Tink33 and before that Nicholette. If you know me, you probably know me from my X-Men: Evo fics 'Of Rain and Cold' and 'Curve Ball' or my TT fic 'Angel Eyes'. For my returning fans (if I even have any... 0_0), I'm planning on fixing those up and re-posting them when I get time, along with writing some more actually new things. You'll all leave reviews telling me how glad you are I've come back, won't you? Yes, I know, you all love me. Now bow down and worship me! Hahahaha! Oh, er, heeheehee... ((ducks flying objects)) Ahh!
