A Proud Judge of The Ficship Competitions It seems to me that I spend too much time writing and then rewriting this blasted profile. Hm... okay, next try! Name? Khadeejah. Yes, it is my real name. Location? Britain, in case you hadn't noticed the significant little flag above. Age? Soon, old enough to take driving lessons. Occupation? Student, and loving it. A Levels! Keeping me even more busy... Goal? Teaching Maths (Fan)Fiction? I write a lot, but most of my work gets scrapped before I get very far. I'm an impulsive writer, so my inspirations come and go, along with my actual urge to write. I have a very active imagination, yet many times I merely lack the ability of expression. I've also been told in the past that I don't really apply myself. Maybe that's true and you can see it being reflected in my writing. Maybe not. That's for you to decide; I'm eager to know. When not trying to create my own original pieces - which never see the light of day - I mostly focus on Tamora Pierce fiction set in the Tortallan Universe. Why? Because in there, she's produced characters that I can relate to and empathise with the most. Alanna, the famed temper; Daine, the oddity; Keladry, the controversial opinions - and these are just to list a few! And in a weird sense, I really admire how she managed to transfer quite a few of the cultures from the real world in her writing, yet make them unique to her style at the same time. Anyway, cheerio!
