Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. I've been writing Jane Austen fan-fiction for years, under my real name at another website. I've had the Harry Potter bug for a while as well, and wrote an honor's thesis for it in college. This is my first time dabbling in writing HP fics, which is what brought me to FFN. Half of a Heart's Desire is an AU. I started writing before HBP came out, but after reading HBP last night, the structure of the plot began to coalesce in my mind. At the moment, I see it as two stories, Entre Deux Guerres, which will focus mainly on James, Sirius and Remus, and its sequel, Fin de Partie, which will focus on Harry and his friends at Hogwarts. On a larger level, I visualize it as sort of a reflection to canon in which Harry is still the chosen one, but he does not have to go it alone, because he has his six touchstones around him. | |||||||
