Gay marriage:

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Briteny Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans...

Well, I'm a Finnish chick (meaning I live in Finland), and a little over fifteen years old. I love anime and manga, my friends and family (and chocolate).

Favorite mangas: Yu-Gi-Oh! (FTW!), Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, Time Stranger Kyoko, Gravitation (I've only read two volumes so far, but I'd like to read more).

Favourite animes: Fullmetal Alchemist, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters (My passion right now. Only the original Japanese version, though), Yu-Gi-Oh! The Shadow Games (Y'know, season zero. Also very beloved by me. I love it), Full Moon wo Sagashite.

Favorite anime/manga pairings:

Edward and Alphonse (I don't know why, really. Usually, though I don't mind incestous relationships, I don't really like or read them that much. Exception in everything, I guess. I still love these two, because it's so sweet and touching)

Yugi and Yami/Atemu (I've always loved them. Their relationship is the reason why I started liking Yu-Gi-Oh! in the first place)

Jou and Seto (Has been a side-pairing in so many Puzzleshipping fics I strated liking it more and more.)

Ryou and Bakura (Very cute. Been a famous side-pairing too, I like it)

Malik and Marik (Really slashable and wonderful. Confusing, angsty relationship. Bloody great)

Honda and Otogi (I don't express it very much, but I really do like this one as well. In the anime, it's about canon, anyway)

Judai and Shou (Blame the fanfiction. And also too obvious to ignore)

Kaworu and Shinji (C'mon, it was fairly obvious. I wasn't even a big fan of shonen-ai back when I saw the episode with Kaworu, and I still could tell these two were in love.)

Ashitaka and San (Very sweet and cute. It was meant to be)

Chihiro and Haku/Kohaku (See the one above)

Ryoga and Ukyo (They are both so lonely and in love with person they can't have)

Seiji and Shizuku (Original pairing. Too cute.)

Kyoko and Sakataki (They did marry and kiss. Original one again. They're very cute)

Nausicaa and Asbel (Kill me if you want, it wouldn't change my mind that they are cute pair)

Ranma and Akane (They are perfect and meant for each other)

Mousse and Shampoo (Mousse really cares about Shampoo and they would look good togeher)

Now, you probably see me as romantic. That's what I am, but I'm also very obsessed by close relatioships between friends and siblings.

Favourite bands and artists: Maija Vilkkumaa (from my homeland), Simple Plan, Within Temptation, Nightwish (from my homeland also), Evannescene, Nickelback, T.A.T.U, Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears and Linking Park, as well as many others. I'm pretty open with music, but I like love-songs the most, and I'm obsessed with J-pop.

My favourite movies: Pirates of the Caribbean: The Black Pearl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Series of Unfortune Events, Prince of Egypt, Joseph; King of dreams, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa and Hayao Miyazaki's movies Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi (Spirited Away), Mononoke Hime (Princess Mononoke), Hauru no Ugoku Shiro (Howl's moving castle) and Kaze no Tani no Naushika (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind). Studio Ghibli's Neko no Ongaeshi (The Cat returns) and Mimi wo Sumaseba (Whisper of the Heart), are also very good.

Other TV-series than anime that I like: Friends, The Simpsons, House

Favourite books: I dunno. I like comics more than actual books, but Harry Potters are good, for example. I also like The Princess Diaries.

Favourite food: Almost all kind of chicken, Mom's spaghetti, pancakes.

Favourite drink: Water, juice, milk (only with warm food, though), soda.

Favourite animals: Cats.

My hobbies: Drawing, reading manga, watching anime, being with my friends, surffing on the internet, writing fanfiction, day-dreaming, making and watching anime music videos, listening and searching for music, singing.

Then some stuff that I don't like

Mangas/Animes (Yes, there are some): Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Oh! My Goddess!, Osamu Tezuka's series, most of horror mangas.

Pairings: 'm too lazy to mention them all right now. There's many, I can say. But I don't usually pair characters with more than one character. I sometimes read some fics that are not about my fave pairs, but that's usually just for a try-out and fun.

Music: Marilyn Manson, all kind of rap (one of my friends is very sad because of hating Manson).

Food: Vegetables, cappage and livers.

Drinks: Tea, sugared or salted water (Yuck!), coffee (But I do like how it smells...).

Other things: Mean people, bullying, wars, murders, arguments, shopping (Yes, as amazing it is, I hate shopping).

Then things about me as a person. I'm romantic day-dreamer and quite naive. I'm a little timid and very insecure. There is many times my heart flutters with happiness and/or excitment. Also, I'm quite a klutz. But in any way, I'm mostly quite cheerful and honest person, and even though I know the cruelty of the world surrounding me, and even if I've been rejected by people I thought were my friends three times, I still see myself as pretty innocent, too. I'm also a little weird and childish.

Then, about my apperance. My eyes, like most of eyes, don't really have a pure colour. They may look blue, green or gray, depending of who watches, and from what distant. I myself consisder them blue-grayish green. They stare the world through glasses on my nose. I have a little round face, and I guess you could say that my face-skin colour is a light reddish. My hair is cut roundly. It's longest part lasts a bit past my neck. Though short, it's very thick. I also have fringe. The colour of my hair is...Well, I guess you you could call it dark honey. My height is about 159 cm, and my wheight...well, let's just say it's past 50 kg.

The way I dress...well it's a little tomboyish. I never really care about how I look, but the way I feel. I always want to wear clothes that make me feel as comfortable as possible. So the usual clothes you see me in, are a pair of jeans, dark socks, a blue t-shirt and a red sweater or coat on it. But sometimes the coat is blue too, or light pink. I hate all kinds of bright colours in my dressing, and I prefer deep red and different blues, except a very dark one.

Sexuality: Is currently sleeping at the bottom of the Nile.

I like all kind of pairings, but nowadays I mostly prefer yaoi and yuri. I'm not very fond of hetero-pairings anymore. I've became quite a shonen-ai fan.

What's up with me: School is kind of tiring nowadays, and hard, but overall I'm quite happy with my life at the moment. I've regained the courage I always had but that was hidden by my teenage angst and the indimitating feelings of Junior High. I'm much more cheery now and happy than I think I ever was in Junior High. High School is defenitely a place for me.

On the writing side: The new chapter for Dry shouts should be up soon enough, as soon as LeShie finishes editing it. Of course, it might get delayed too.
