Time to revamp this profile. You need not know more than the following: Gundam is all that matters. Therefore, I think Setsuna F. Seiei and I have a lot in common. In terms of Gundam series, SEED is my greatest love, though. Yzak Joule is my hero. Dearka likes strawberries. I'd ask ZAFT to recruit me because of their elite red uniforms of awesomeness, but if I'm being honest... were Gundam SEED real, I'm sure I'd be on the Natural side. What else? Death Note also owns a piece of my going-to-hell soul. I hate Yagami Light with a passion. Matt and Mello are sluts for each other (see multiple fics of mine). And Code Geass. CODE GEASS. There are days that I swear I am Suzaku Effing Kururugi, because I roleplay him with vigor that worries even my best friends. My other much-loved series: Last Exile, Fullmetal Alchemist, Chrono Crusade, Hikaru no Go, Gankutsuou, Ouran High School Host Club, Revolutionary Girl Utena and... lots more. We hold contests a lot between the four of us, and the resulting fanfics can be amusing. We also do a lot of roleplaying and writing of renga stories together, and those things end up getting posted as well. Announcement, 14 October 2009: It's been at least a year now since I saw Code Geass for the first time. In that time, I have managed to cosplay multiple Geass characters, am planning to cosplay MORE characters, and I have roleplayed (am still roleplaying) Suzaku Kururugi... passionately-to-the-point-of-killing-myself. And yet, I have not graced the fanfic world with my Geass fanaticism. WHAT KIND OF CRIME IS THAT?! (Honestly, I think I just needed time to prepare myself for it.) Thus, the point of this announcement: I'm breaking into Code Geass, dear readers. 'TIS HIGH TIME. However, since I predict this will become the biggest... thing... I've ever tackled - yes, bigger than my love of Death Note and, although it pains me to say it, possibly bigger than my Gundam SEED obsession - I've decided to come up with a method of organizing my Code Geass stories into categories. Or er, well... actually just the ones that focus on Suzaku and Lelouch. I'm still fighting with the specifics, but for now, the breakdown is as follows: Anfangspiel ~ German for "beginning game," or "starting at the beginning of." Stories that fall into this block will deal with Suzaku and Lelouch's childhood years. They may also cover the canon time period up to about when Lelouch discovers that it's Suzaku piloting the Lancelot. But I haven't decided that yet. Help? Mittespiel ~ Roughly means "center in the middle of." Let's face it, the main chunk of Geass falls into this block. All the back-and-forth drama between Suzaku and Lelouch as the series progresses and they keep hurting each other? Yeah, that's Mittespiel. Endspiel ~ "Final Game." (This is the one that causes me UNMEASURABLE AMOUNTS OF ANGST.) Events that revolve around Zero Requiem. Oh. And a good number of these (but not all, I promise) will be yaoi themed, or at least hint at boy-love in small ways. Come on. It's Suzaku and Lelouch. They're so sexually frustrated for each other. I will label my Code Geass fics in my summaries, so that readers clearly see which block a story belongs to. If it's NOT labeled, the Code Geass fic involves characters/relationships that I won't delve into frequently enough to create a system for (i.e. my random urges for Gino x Suzaku, Suzaku x Kallen, C.C. x Kallen, Lloyd x Cécile, Suzaku x Euphie, Lelouch x Shirley, etc.). I think this system makes it more fun, because if you're in the mood for Suzaku and Lelouch at a particular stage and you want to separate out what's what, now you can. (Gee, the jock has brains after all.) Lastly - I don't know if my Lelouch will take me up on this, and he certainly doesn't have to, but... anja-chan. You know you are the REASON I've become so effing stuck on Code Geass. You know that you drive me, that I am scared shitless of you, etc. ad nauseam. So I kind of want to share with you. And to connect any followers I might accrue with you, because the two of US are connected and PEOPLE, ANJA-CHAN IS AN AMAZING WRITER AND A TOP NOTCH LELOUCH, so it's only natural that I say, "Go ahead and steal my method of categorizing if you feel it works for you," in hopes that my readers will check out your stuff too, because you deserve that. Big time. And while I'm at it, that list of the magic three up there in the first part of my profile still stands, you people.
