Anyone else as excited as I am?

Hey, baka chan here and I dream of being a high school teacher (I like school, children, and teaching.)

Before you ask, yes, I AM a girl =) I live off romance, fantasy, horror and mystery stories. But mostly romance.
One of the reason why I tried writing was because I wanted to see what it felt like to be the writer and not the reader for once. I've learned that writing is indeed difficult and it takes a lot of time, effort, and determination to finish a story. Therefore, I'm really amazed by all the talented writers here.

I like reading and reviewing people's works. Rarely do I read something and NOT leave a review.
If the work is good, I say it. If the work isn't, I still point out what I liked and something to improve their writing. If I said something offensive, then I apologize.
I DON'T believe in flames either. Authors give us readers something, so we should give a little something back right?

I suppose I'm known for the sometimes-much-too-long reviews and I'll apologize for that. I really do like reflecting on the characters in the stories, thinking what would happened next, and ask questions to myself. It's much more fun when you engage yourself in the story than simply just read it.
My friends know me as the Girl-who-gets-so-caught-up-in-a-story-she-forgets-to-study-for-her-exams. Err.. yeah... I need to learn to avoid both fanfiction and the library during the exam periods... books/fanfics are much too distracting. I'll keep that in mind for second year for sure.

September 23rd, 2009 - Okay, it's September and school started for 2 weeks. Already I'm loaded with chemistry prelabs, labs and what nots. I seriously wasn't expecting to be doing 3 prelabs and 3 formal lab reports each week, every week (Chem major) as well as alternately writing a quiz and test every week. So yeah, don't be surprised if you don't see me for awhile.

What I read here on fanfiction:
I like to read different fandoms; games, anime/manga, cartoons and even some books as well.
It's a pretty big range, I'll read from popular fandoms (CCS, Harry Potter and Kingdom Hearts) to the less well known ones (Disgaea, Tales of the Abyss, and Golden Sun. Huh.. all games)
Right now though, I'm really into Kingdom Hearts. I blame my university friends for that really.

My thoughts on relationships:
I support ALL types of relationship EXCEPT incest. So I'll read straight, yaoi, and yuri fics. If it's well written, it's worth a read right?
People are people and love is love, why should gender stand in the way?
Just incest seems sort of odd...inbreeding has more biological problems in the future anyways... (Is still taking biology courses)

My Stories
So recently I started writing again. Nothing too special but I have ideas floating into my head. My share my ideas with my best friend and she gives me some ideas back too xD
I'm not even sure if I'll post all of the fics I'm writing either.

Writing (2009):
- Inspiring Profession:
Summary: Gill always inspired to be a teacher but he was starting to think that maybe he should be specific on what he wanted to teach. Was this how he wanted to spend his day off? Pairings: GillxMaya with a dash of ChasexAngela
Idea: When I learned Gill wanted to be a teacher and Maya was no good in cooking, this somehow came to mind. For my friend who thought they would be a funny crack!couple.
Status: Completed and uploaded.

- A Blind Eye:
Summary: In life, there are certain things you must keep to yourself. Contest entry for 'Secrets.'
Pairings: None really, but there's a few hints.
Idea: Came to mind when I first heard the theme for the Harvest Moon Contest =)
Status: Completed and uploaded.

- Matchbreaker:
Summary: What's a boy to do when the girl he loves is in love with another? Why, break them up of course. That was exactly what Chase was going to do.
Pairings: GillxAngela, ChasexAngela
Idea: My friend who first played ToT in 2008 said she was chasing Gill first but once Chase came to town, she switched xD And then this story was born.
Status: Chapters gone...

- Petty Jealousy: (Not sure if I'm keeping this title though.)
Summary: "Why are you with her if you don't even like her!?" Bo was always envious of Luke, but what's he going to do when realizes he has something that Luke desperately wants? Bo's POV.
Pairings: Onesided BoxAngela, LukexAngela
Idea: My best friend initially wanted to marry Bo, but after finding out he's not a candidate, she switched to Luke xD
Status: Gone too

- Darkness and Silence:
Summary: It was when the new farmer girl moved in did Carter question why things happen the way they do. A blind man and a mute girl. How was this going to work?
Pairings: CarterxClaire
Idea: The fact that Carter never opens his eyes and the fact that Claire doesn't exactly 'talk'. Funny how these little things can create story plots =)
