Author has written 9 stories for Stargate: Atlantis, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, and Final Fantasy XII. Eh, this is the part where authors usually talk about themselves as a person. I prefer to let my writing to the talking for me because the way I write generally reflects me as person. But, I guess I'll add in the details that won't really show up. I'm seventeen years old and working at the moment to earn some money for uni. I'm female (if you couldn't tell from the username, heh) and living in central Scotland. Personality wise, I'm not the sanest of people once you get to know me. I probably seem shy at first glance but really, I'm not. So to all those people who don't think I'm approachable, approach me damn it, I dare you! Erm anyways I guess I'm a vaguely normal (... very vaguely) girl who spends too much time with her head in the clouds. As for the writing side of me, well I get most of my inspiration from final fantasy games and sci fi, with a dash of anime on the side. I like most things with a well thought out plot that I can't see coming. Because I really hate it when I can, especially when it comes to tv shows. It's like a spoiler for a game you don't want to see but you have to see it because it's in your head! Ahh. My Best genre: Humour. I don't know why but it's something I always write best. Maybe it has something to do with me acting weird on a regular basis. Who knows. Worst genre: Romance. Especially fluffy romance! Considering I haven't written anything resembling romance yet, I think it's obvious I'm not good at these. Perhaps my FFX fic may lean a little towards the romance side due to readers demand, just don't complain if I mess up! Why I don't write fluff? Hmm. To be blunt, I like my angst! Angsting good, fluff just doesn't appeal much to me. I have a jar of angst you know... Psst. I'm a member of 'The Fellowship of the Darklight' being the author of Lady Xianghua. http://www.fanfiction.net/u/786353/ So check it out. Not your standard Star Wars tale, that's for sure. I'm still learning when it comes to writing and I'm still a bit fresh onto the field, so hopefully with time I will get better. Someday I hope to be a decent author... but we'll see. I may have the imagination but my writing skills are far from up to scratch. Current works (Stuff I'm actually getting around to writing and in order of priority): -The Jests of Fate = Well the prologue is up, I'm not too happy with it though. But it needed to start somewhere. the prologue is more tongue in cheek than the rest of the series will be The next few chapters will be more standard of the series. Just expect scenes from the game which if handled differently things could have gone wrong... Heh heh. Oh and a bit of Vaan bashing. I like Vaan but he's like Tidus, easy to poke fun at. -Definately not a Holiday = I do plan to continue with this one when I play through FF7 again. You see I wrote it on holiday as a one shot but I really thought it'd make a good series. It remains as one of the best pieces I've ever written so I'm hesitant to force myself to write the first chapter just incase I mess up. -Chase = I lost my notes for this one. D'oh. So I'll need to remake up the plot which means it might not get updated all that soon. -Rikku and the mimic = I will continue with this! I'd swear on something valuable... but the only thing valuable I have is my cat Max, and he's not going anywhere. But it's an Aurrikku now. So there. Happy? (I still think I suck at romance but meh, you guys asked for it.) Atlantis: Well, I'm on the fence at the moment about continuing those Atlantis fics I've got up. I'm getting back into Atlantis again but I'm not sure if people are still interested in them... Ideas for fictions that may be written in the future; Well after playing FFXII, liking it alot, and being generally happy with all the characters, I've decided I'm happy to write FFXII pieces now. Expect one shots as nowadays I don't trust myself to finish large stories I start. Bad track record there. Since I like the pairings Fran x Balthier and Penelo x Larsa, there might be a few romance one shots. If I don't mess up at the romance parts... Generally I'll be writing humourous one shots here and there. I like writing humour, it's what I do. Also, here's a big thanks to those who review my stories. I 3 reviews! So... THANKS! | |||||||||
