I'm 18 years old, I don't have my driver's license yet, and I don't really want it, either. So there. You can't make me. T.T

I'm a college student studying biochemistry and premedicine. (ONU! Go bears!)

Also, I'm a member of the ONUMB, fencing club and ONU SMACS. Eventually (as in when I get around to it), I'll be a member of ACS, too.

I speak Spanish badly, but I'm getting better. I think I'll start taking Japanese here in the next year or so...

I wear glasses. I can't live without them.

I worked on my final formal paper for high school this past year; it's a thesis within which we must prove our point using both literary, historic and non-fiction resources. My focus books are: "The Plague and I" by Betty Bard MacDonald, "In the Shadow of the White Plague" by Elizabeth Mooney, and "The Air We Breathe" by Andrea Barrett. I've got a pretty complicated thesis going, within which I am analyzing the effect that tuberculosis has upon the individual, the family, and the community. It's a pretty interesting topic, and even though the books are pretty obscure, they're all pretty interesting. If t.b. interests you, then I would suggest checking them out at your local library.

The fics:

You can probably tell by looking, but I don't actually write much fanfiction, and what I do have has been written far and in between. As a result, the quality of my work seems to be varying greatly. The older pieces, especially. I apologize for that.

When I do write, I write about things that I think I can relate to, or feelings I have about the characters that I want to try to get across. Sometimes it doesn't work out so well, sometimes it does. I try to express my feelings about the anime/manga through my work, though.

I will never write a crossover fic again. Except for maybe Horitsuba, which doesn't quite count.

I do like to read fics, though. If you've got something interesting, drop me a line.

Added October 1st, 2009: Tsubasa Chronicle fic. Titled Tired of Waiting. I didn't have a set idea for this fic when I sat down to write it, so we'll see how it goes. This one will sit as a oneshot, but I may write a companion piece for it in the future.

Added April 22nd, 2009: Tsubasa Chronicle fic. Titled Tearing Down the Wall. I got the idea for this fic while I was considering the evolution of Fai's character throughout the series. I meant it to be much shorter than it actually is, but it dragged itself out. Read and enjoy.

Added January 4th, 2008: New Forum. Liquid Evolution The Growth of the Characters for the anime/manga Tsubasa Resivoir Chronicle. Go check it out.

Added September 9th, 2007: Tsubasa Chronicle fic. Titled Feline Identity. I got the idea for this fic today while I was talking about Fai and cats with my sister. This is the result. Check it out. My first real attempt at something somewhat drabble-ish.

Added September 4th, 2007: Demon Hunt is finally finished. The final chapters (Chapter 12 and the Epilogue) were added. Check it out and see what you think.

Added September 3, 2007: Tsubasa Chronicle fic. Titled Breakthrough. I got to thinking about Fai and stuff. So I kind of wanted to get across the fact that Fai couldn't move away from his past and begin to heal until he can learn to smile. That's what I was aiming for, at least.
