More About Me: I love to read, which is why I ended up with an account at this site. I read InuYasha (my current obsession), Yu-gi-oh and Yu-gi-oh R. I've started reading Rurouni Kenshin; Kenshin may be my next obsession. I do not like character bashing except in a parody or other genuinely humorous story. I hate flames; if you don't like someone's story, stop reading it.

My Pen Name: Geek that I am, the "Jean-Luc" refers to Picard. "Lover" is not meant in a romantic or sexual sense; rather, it is intended to mean the same as "phile" in anglophile.

Still More About Me: I can beta-read/edit for anyone interested. I have very good technical writing skills. I am not much of a creative writer. I have a logical and analytical mind -- and have two degrees to prove it!

Things I hate: Making quarterly estimated tax payments! People who act smugly superior. Deadlines. Missing a deadline! My leaking roof. Bad grammar.

Favorite Anime/Manga Characters (in no particular order): Himura Kenshin; Shinomori Aoshi (rivals Kaiba Seto for sheer hotness); InuYasha; Sesshomaru; Kaiba Seto; Kaiba Mokuba; Kisara; Kagome; Jounouchi Katsuya (manga version, not Joey Wheeler with the horrible accent!); and, of course, Jean-Luc Picard.

Anime: I have discovered the joys of fansubs. I love Traingle Hearts and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (don't get the name, but hey, it's still great). Yu-gi-oh fansubs are also a must despite the bad translations on some of them.
