Hiya, well I'm smithyfan! Also know as Mandy on livejournal where my torchwood fics are x-posted. Erm I've been reading/writing fanfiction for a few years. I read in and out of a number of fandoms and have written in a few of them. I mainly read slash which I have got into through fanfiction : D.

I first got into fanfiction through The Bill. I have written 3 fics in this fandom. I love smithy/kerry, they were so meant for each otha (Damn Gabriel Kent) although I thought Luke/Kerry was so cute! I can't really get the time to watch at the moment so unfortunatly I don't really read up to date fics in this fandom - quite sad really.

I love Harry Potter - books or films and read a bit of these fanfictions. Wooo Deathly Hallows was so good - could have been better but hey it would never have lived up to all the expectations. I've got 1 half finished fic that is harry/ginny that I wrote at the end of HBP (so is now AU) but t I just can't finish it, I've lost the inspiration for this fic, hopefully it will one day return!! I also have a Harry/Ginny oneshoty thing that I wrote pretty fast when I was desperate to write but you should read, what have you got to loose! Hmm Harry/Draco slash. Like it, not sure how I feel 'bout it though.

Desperate housewives is one of my main fandoms at the moment although Torchwood is consuming me at the moment. I've got three desperate housewives fics posted. The first is my main one I've now finished!! The summary is misleading, it is more A/J orientated than I originally planned! Thanks to UFOhelena for her amazing beta skills. I also wrote a oneshot to give me something to write during my exams when I HAD to write but didn't want to wreck An Old Face which is a letter from Andrew to Bree. I have written a sequel which is Andrew's letter to Justin.

Doctor Who and Torchwood. Well I've put these in the same paragraph beacuse well they are similar, I'm not really into any SciFi type things except these so its a bit out of character - its cos they're so fab and John Barrowman and David Tennant are so hot!! O ye best mention that - I have the HUGEST crush on John Barrowman (Cpt Jack Harkness) since well he first came on Doctor Who but especially since the start of Torchwood. Damn he's hot! Wouldn't say no to David Tennant either : p Must be a thing about Scots? I dunno what it is! I haven't written any Doctor Who fic, not sure why, the inspiration has never really hit, although I would love to write a Ten/Jack. As for Torchwood well I love it! I like it more than Doctor Who and that is rare for me in a spin off! JACK/IANTO JACK/IANTO JACK/IANTO. Yep thats the pairing thats consuming me at present. They make THE hottest couple! Posted two Torchwood fics atm and sooooooooo want to do another but I've just gone back to college and so have NO time and any I do I'm working because I'm broke and am now attempting to run a car - not going well! lol. Oh yeah and Jack/Jack from 1.12 it the sweetest thing and THAT kiss! Hottest thing on TV since - ever.

Well now I'm gonna sit here and write rubbish about myself! Lol no, just to let you know a bit about me.
-I'm a 17 yr old girl currently in college. I am studying some really (not) fun A levels but i'm not telling what they are as you'll point and laugh.
- I LOVE slash fics
- I have THE biggest crush on John Barrowman
-I hate closeminded people and people who can't think for themselves
-I am Catholic and I believe what I believe, it doesn't matter if you don't.
- I hate it when people try to push their religion on you - its not necessary
-I have a younger sister who is really cool when she isn't pissing me off and stealing my clothes!
-I love going out with my mates who are the best people in the world.
-I am pretty easy to get on with and am a generally happy person
-I'm highly prone to sudden depressive moods (thats when I read/write angst!), I cry pretty easily, ie all the time!
- Angst invades my fics
-I am not judgemenatal and give anyone a chance. I don't judge people on first impressions, sterotypes or on their friends/family. Everyone is their own person and we all deserve equal chances.
-If you hurt me I will not forget it.
-I will forgive you and give you a second chance though, try not to f#£k it up though, you might not get another.
-I am quite shy and fear rejection. I would rather keep quiet than speak up and regret it.
-I AM regaining my self confidence and learning to like myself more. Thankyou, you know who you are x
-I'm a lifeguard which I love. I work with some amazing people, they make work great.
- Surprisingly to me I make friends fairly easily. Apparently it's because I have "an amazing ability to listen to people talk crap about themselves all day and seem interested"
- It is quite true, I'm a good listener, not so good at talking about my own problems though.
-When I drink I become quite loud until a point when I tend to go quiet.
-I sober up quickly if someone I care about needs looking after.
-I get really bad hangovers and hate people who don't!
-I care far too much what people think about me and I know it. But its me. Deal with it

Woah I actually have written alot, I din't know I could write so much about myself so sorry about that! Anyway i gtg so bye for now and please reveiw my fics it makes me happy and keeps me motivated cya xxx
