Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter.

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay. - Robert Frost

Who is Vivian? In a few words: faulty perfectonist, cynical idealist, romantic but strangely realist, hopelessly flawed, bookworm. I'm currently a senior in high school. I ship and write fanfiction for the Draco/Ginny pairing. To find out more about me, visit my livejournal, which you can find by clinking the 'homepage' link up at the top (although the journal is mostly friends only - at least 90 percent due to the personal nature of the posts). Thank you wonderful readers and reviews, and brownies for all of you!

I've gotten a few complaints about this and have already begun steps to rectify it. It's an ugly word - plagiarism. I'm sorry to say that I did indeed take a few too many ideas from Jennifer Crusie's Bet Me (anyone who knows me knows that it continues to be one of my favorite books) mostly because when I wrote the story over 4 years ago it was the only romance novel I had read and I was much, much too influenced by it. Rereading my story and the chapters a few reviewers have noted, I do realize it's way too close for comfort. I've already edited the offending part in chapters 2 and 3 and will continue to do so if the situation arises.

I have used several quotes from several movies, but have always given credit for them at the bottom in my Author's Notes. I'm sure I have credited Jennifer Crusie somewhere, and to emphasize this, please know that it was NOT intentional at all - I did NOT copy the passage out of the book and change the names. Same thing with the "this one" statements - it will take me a while to track them all down and delete them out of my work, so please allow me time to do so. It was more a situation of me being overly, overly influenced by my favorite book at the time. I am very very sorry and embarassed for my actions. If needs be, I will take the entire story down from fanfiction.net - it's not a problem. But for the people who have read and loved the story I would prefer not to. Please contact me before sending any complaint to fanfiction.net because I promise I will do anything I can to change it. Thanks.

ETA: As of 10 PM today (Pacific Time Zone) I have edited out all plagiarist parts of Match Me by either taking all scenes/lines out that seem too close to the book, rewriting them, and/or (when it was a line I used and had already given credit) emphasized the credit to Jennifer Crusie - I have no wish to be the next Cassandra Clare and I repeat, whatever you may think, IT WAS NOT INTENTIONAL. I had read that book to pieces and believe it or not, I can quote entire passages, so no wonder some of it got into my fic. My fic is still way too influenced by Bet Me and I really really don't like it (I haven't liked it for a long time now and besides this idiotic thing I did I just don't like the fic, plain and simple, it's terrible) but I have given credit at the bottom in the Author's Notes for anything and everything that is not my own work. The whole work is a shitload of cliches though, so if anyone feels it's still too close to anything, just let me know and I'll fix it. Thanks again, and I'm terribly, terribly sorry.

IMPORTANT NOTICE about epilogue to Match Me
As you have noticed, the epilogue to Match Me is not posted. As you also may have noticed, the fanfiction is and has been labeled "complete" by me for some time. Yes, when I posted the last chapter (29 - My Confession) of Match Me I had then decided to write an epilogue. Well, the epilogue just wouldn't write and my muse, that fickle creature, ran off. So no epilogue, although I do have what I had written of it on my livejournal. Please feel free to browse it at your leisure there :)

Shoulders

A man crosses the street in the rain,
stepping gently, looking two times north and south,
because his son is asleep on his shoulder.

No car must splash him
No car drive too near his shadow

This man carries the world's most sensitive cargo
but he's not marked
Nowhere does his jacket say FRAGILE,
HANDLE WITH CARE.

His ear fills up with breathing.
He hears the hum of a boy's dream
deep inside him.

We're not going to be able
to live in this world
if we're not willing to do what he's doing
with one another.

The road will only be wide.
The rain will never stop falling.
