I've finally taken the plunge and posted my first story, afteryears of being a closet writer.

I wrote my first story when I was 14 years old, it was a Star Trek: TNG, withQ. Since then I have also written Stargate SG1, CSI, Star Trek:VOY and some original works. None of which I have posted or shown to anyone (with the exception of my Star Trek TNG/Q story, which I let my brother read - Perhaps I should have listened to him as he liked it and was very encouraging). As you can tell I like Sci-Fi & Drama's

It has been commented that finding a woman that likes science fiction is rare. But I've found loads of stories written by women that are in the sci-fi/fantasy genre on ff.net, some have an amazing talent and I'm honestly surprised they don't write proffessionally - but perhaps they do (LOL).

As well as writing I dabble in watercolours, having painted a few items for friends and family. I have recently toyed with the notion of trying to get some freelance work. Perhaps I should just take the plunge and give that a go too.
