Thanks to everyone who is reading my profile. I'm going to give you some information about me.
My name is Monica Popescu just like the new character in my main story(But I'm not like her. She represents some of the qualities I have and some that I wish I had). Actually all the new people that I mention in it (exept Romendacil that I just made up)do exist in my life although generally I just took the names and the way they look, creating someone new.
I'm 19 and I'm first year student at University of Construction engineering.I am from Romania and that's why I want to ask you not to be to harsh with me. Sometimes I make spelling and grammar mistakes but mostly because I don't pay enough atention. I write fanfiction not only because I like it but also because this is a good way to improve my english knowledge. To be honest english is my favorite foreign language and it's the one I know far better. (I've been studying it for more then ten years although since highschool my grammar knowledge didn't improve to much because most of my colleagues were terrible at this language and my teacher had to keep a low level when teaching.)
Hobbies: reading, listening to music, and now, writing.
Favorite sport: Fencing which I stopped practising because I don't have time for it.
Favorite Bands( There are really many, so I'm going to name only some of them): Nightwish, Metallica, Guns'n'Roses,Ever Eve, Godsmack, Iced Earth, Helloween, HIM and many others.
My favorite parings are: Harry/Ginny
Ron/Hermione
Luna/Neville
Remus/Tonks
Lily/James
Bill/Fleur
I'm not much of a fan of slashes although, I read them occasionally.
My favorite characters are: Luna, Snape, Voldemort, Remus and Fleur (I started liking her after HPB). In thruth I like most characters but this ones are deffinetly my favorites.
Untill now I've written seven stories:
Revenge: This story is going to be long. It's about Harry going on his quest to find the Horcruxes. Of course he won't be going alone: Ron and Hermione will follow him along with three old friends and two other mysterious persons. They are Monica, a young witch raised by a family of muggles and her grandfather, Romendacil. They both seek revenge and want to see Voldemort dead for he has brought much pain to them. The girl is also on a quest to prove to her grandfather that she's not like her father. Cannon pairing and NOT a Mary-Sue.
And now I wait: This story is about Sirius. What was he thinking when he went after Peter and why did he leave the Aurores aresst him so easily? It also contains Sirius' first moments in Azkaban. Oneshot.
Last Christmas: This one is about how Charlie spends his Christmas in Romania. It includes Monica and and the mayhem of the last minute Christmas shopping. You don't need to read Revenge first to understand what it is all about.
Odo's poem: This is my version of the song sang by Slughorn and Hagrid at the funeral of the giant spider. I know it's not the best but you should check it out. :D
Never give up: This story is about Ginny's thoughts when Harry decided to breake up with her. Angst but no suicidal thoughts.
Bad work day: Tonks has a really bad work day and decides to go to Sirius and have a talk with him. She doesn't find him alone and after a moment of outburst at her cousin she descovers that the very thing she had been looking for since school, stands right in front of her.
Their worst mistake: This is my story about how the Malfoys became what tey are now. At first I wanted to make it a multi-chapter story but I no longer have time to work on two stories. I promis that once I finsh Rvenge I will continue with the story.
Si acum astept: This is actually the Romanian version of "And now I wait" . I translated it for a contest on a Romanian HP fansite. I got third place although I can't say that I had much competition...
Once again thanks for reading my profile and please, please review my stories when you read them. I have nothing against constructive criticism and BAGGE can tell you that. I know I'm not the best writter in the world but I really want to improve my writting skills and I can only do that if you review my stories.I must admit that it is a little depressing to work hard on chapter and to only get Two reviewes (thanks again BAGGE and Miranda Took for being so kind and reviewing each of my stories and chapters. I'll never get tired of them.Also thanks to Deb-lil although I haven't seen another story from her for a long time. I guess she's very busy :(( )
