Welcome to Alternative Therapy's Creative Depths

Writing, in a sense, is a form of therapy for me. It keeps me sane and keeps those demented thoughts that creep into my head from showing in the everyday world by restricting them to their place on paper. So I have decided to share my sporadic binges of frustrated writing with the rest of the world. (We’ll see how well the world accepts me). I am an ESL teacher in South Korea who loves teaching her students, hanging with her boyfriend, writing/reading, learning Korean and playing video games, all the while finding the time to sleep… and in the words of Shel Silverstein:

“At night my mind does not much care if what it thinks is here or there. It tells me stories; it invents, and makes up things that don’t make sense. I do not know why it does this stuff. The real world seems quite weird enough.”

Story Updates!

10/11/11 (at least here in Korea it's the 11th of October! ㅋㅋㅋ (the Korean laugh)).

The Pieces of Us - I think it best to say that this story might be dead. I've been out of action for a long time. Real life makes things hard. More than a year ago I moved to South Korea to teach English as a Second Language and have been there ever since. I love it here. I get to travel around Asia and teach books like The Iliad and the Odyssey. I am writing a different piece of Bebop fiction that may or may not get posted depending on time and how I feel about the piece. The Pieces of Us seemed more forced to me so I haven't done anything with it. The idea is there but no inspiration. Who knows, maybe that will change. I'll leave it up here for now and hopefully I'll write something soon. Till then.

The Last Fragments of You - Cowboy Bebop. Post anime. Complete! Spike is back on the Bebop and the Lions Syndicate is out for his head. They will do anything to get him, even if it means dealing with the loud mouth Faye.
