They are not songfics. Rather, they are song-inspired fics. If you'd read them, you'd notice they either don't have the lyrics in the actual text, or simply have a quote at the very beginning (giving credit to the original song). I do not like songfics, so you won't be seeing any from me. You'll just see some fics inspired by: Rent, Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera, and whatever songs I happen to hear on the Sirius Broadway channel that happen to inspire me. You may have noticed that a few of my story possibilities are listed as AU. Rest assured, I very rarely depart from the established universe of a series to a great extent. Almost all of my stories are based in the same basic universe as the series itself. However, I sometimes like to tweak things. "What if" situations are some of my favorites to write about, you see. When you see an AU in my summary, it probably means I'm exploring a "what if". The only time I'll depart from the established universe to a further extent than "what if"s, is if I'm basing a story on a fairy/folk tale. I do not, have not, and will not write a "high school" fic. I've seen tons of fanfiction where Inuyasha and crew (or some other cast of characters) are written into a high school setting. I can't stand those fics. Write as you like, but you'll never see one of those from me. I'd recommend you don't check my favorite author's list. It needs to be cleared out, big time.
