Author has written 29 stories for Star Wars, and Star Wars. Having not updated my profile in two years, I thought I might give it another whirl. First and foremost, I am a great lover of original characters, and an active participant in the OC Revolution. We in the OC Revolution believe that the stigma against OCs is unacceptable, and that they don't all have to be the reviled self-insert Mary Sues everyone keeps ripping upon. OCs can be compelling and amazing if you take the time to do it, and do it right. I write mostly Knights of the Old Republic fic, even though I love pretty much all of the Star Wars universe. I find the KOTOR era to be one of the most interesting periods in their history, so I have a good time exploring it. I may not update as frequently as even I would like to, but there are two reasons for that: first, that Darth Real Life tends to take over from time to time, and fanfic generally takes a backseat to that. The other reason is that if I'm going to post something, I want it to be done right. So I take my time writing stuff, and it hasn't done me wrong yet. Oh, and I love computers and philosophy, so both of those have a tendency to show up with a fair amount of frequency. Don't worry, though, I apparently make philosophy readable. :) Note: My pen name, for the longest time, was Hippified Jedi DWH. I changed it because it was the longest variation on the DWH theme, and it was just getting unwieldy. | |||||||||
