What you just read above is a little clip from my favourite fanfiction of all time, which unfortunately isn't on ff.net, and no no NO it is NOT a 'Bakura beats Ryou' fic. Anyway, I'm not the best author in the world or particularly talented at writing, which is a given, but I write because I need to get these crazy ideas out of my head, and for the fun of it. That's it. So far, all of my stories that are NOT for Computerfreak101's contest are most likely be Ryou-centric (Yuugiou/Yu-Gi-Oh!). I just enjoy writing about him the most, and I have the most ideas when it comes to him. My Top Three Spots: 1) Yuugiou/Yu-Gi-Oh! 2) YuYu Hakusho/Umineko no Naku Koro ni 3) Rurouni Kenshin/Hunter x Hunter/Soul Eater Others worth mentioning (to me, at least): Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, Harry Potter, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Death Note. Of course, they aren't ALL on here... I've forgotten a bunch, I'm sure... Favourite Characters of All Time: Ryou, Bakura, Thief Bakura, Malik, Marik, Kenshin, Kanon, Kuwabara, Sanosuke, Koenma, Kurama, Hiei, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, Gon, Riku, Axel, blah blah blah. LOTS of different characters. I don't hate easily. Fandom(s) I write for: Yu-Gi-Oh/Yuugiou (current, always). Other ones that I'd love to get into are YuYu Hakusho, Soul Eater, and Umineko no Naku Koro Ni. OTP: I have finally decided. My one true pairing: Gemshipping. Alternative forms are practically tied with it. I make due with Tender, and I adore Bakushipping. After that... Ryoushippings. :3 Basically, if Ryou's in it, it makes me happy. So on the fanfiction introspection front, I have realised I am deeply unsatisfied with the state of the YGO fandom right now, as well as my own fics. Most of them are things that were forced on me - some of the ones I wrote for myself are in desperate need of fixing for one reason or another. This isn't me quitting though - this is me trying to gather what I've done so far - what I am PROUD of doing so far - and improving it, updating it, making it better. And of course, I will have to lose some of the things that I never liked... Well, we'll see. One thing I do know is that I desperately need someone to whip me into shape (aka a beta) and it is ridiculously hard to go through all of the ones available and find one that I feel will actually do the job.
