Thoughts on Breaking Dawn (SPOILER)
Breaking Dawn was not what I expected. I felt like it didn't fit entirely with the rest of series, because it sent all our preconceived notions out the window. I sometimes foudn it hard to believe that it was the book and not fanfiction. Aren't vampires not suppose to have kids? Then Edward calling the baby "a thing," and wanting to kill it, made me mad.
The book focused too much on other things and not the characters. I wanted more romance and more Bella/Edward time. I'm happy she got her human experience and became a vampire, but I'm not sure what else to think.
The book made me laugh and cry, and I am sorry to see it over. It was a lot different than what I thought. It felt different that the others, like it doesn't quite fit. I like Reneesme and I'm happy Jacob got to imprint. I hated that Alice left, and that Rose cared more about the baby than Bella. The Volturi thing was over before it begun, and all the extra characters made me mad.
I need more time to consider it, and maybe reread it in a few days. I have a lot on my mind, and I'm not sure what to think. Let me know your thoughts...
