I'm Campbell, a twenty-year-old college sophomore from Georgia, and my life's ambition is to actually make a living writing books for young adults. I know, haha, fat chance. But ever since my preschool teacher told my mother that my "strengths are in dictating imaginable stories" (like the time I swore to everyone that my parents let me keep a pony under my bed and actually expected them to believe me) I was pretty much fated to spend the rest of my life trying. Unfortunately, I have a teeny weeny problem with ADD (like, legitimate, um-Campbell-did-you-take-your-pills-today-you're-acting-kinda-psycho ADD) and so actually finishing stories is a little challenging for me.

I consider characterization the most important element of any story, so you'll often find me spending more time on that than on silly things like plots. ;)

I'm obsessed with Grey’s Anatomy. And Brian Regan. And Libba Bray. And Stephen Colbert. And Orson Scott Card. And J.K. Rowling. And the Gabe Dixon Band. And Firefly. And…I’ll just go ahead and quit there, lol.

In an effort to save a little money towards tuition, I've recently started working full time as a lead teacher at a daycare. I basically spend 9 hours (not to mention all the time I spend outside of the classroom on planning) out of the day with 10 two-year-olds, so you'll have to forgive me for not updating as much as I should. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my job...it's just very, very exhausting.
