Hello, all. I am a 23 year-old currently living in Slovakia and teaching little kids between the ages of 3 and 5 English and absolutely loving my life, which has actually resulted in a great spurt of creativity. Now, if only I owned my own computer...

In case the following stories don´t betray my bias, I am a Snape fan through and through, largely in combination with Hermione Granger. For those of you who wrinkle your noses at this pairing, weren't you ever just the tiniest bit in love with one of your cute, intelligent teachers in high school or university?

My jury is out on Deathly Hallows, I just can't decide whether I like it because it's a fun adventure story or hate it because it is on many fronts not the ending the series deserved. I loved the first four books of the series, but will confess that I think both Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince were phenomenal wastes of paper and time considering how much JKR tried to pack into Deathly Hallows and the emptiness of plot that comprised books 5 and 6. That and both books contain absolutely dreadful morals about personal responsibility.

I find Lucius Malfoy an excellent character foil for Snape, Voldemort's relationship with the Potions master interesting territory - I do not mean sexually - and Dumbledore a manipulating old man who has, in spite of how it comes off, the best of intentions overall. While I approve of the Ginny-Harry relationship, I find the idea that Hermione Granger the intellectual would wed Ron Weasley who can´t even finish an essay without her assistance impossible. Smart women like smart men, hence the consistent pairing with Snape in my stories.

And that pretty much covers it, except to say that I prefer full-cast fics for most of my longer pieces and owe my genuine, head-over-heels love of the Granger-Snape pairing to Kalina Lea's "The Buried Life." It remains one of my two absolute faves in the entire genre, if you haven't read it, I strongly recommend it.
