Profile v3: Being (Slightly) Grumpy. Hi. I'm Jess, and I'm a girl, and I live in Australia. Which means I probably won't be on the internet at the same time as you. Unless of course I am, because I'm on the internet a lot of the time. It comes with having no life. When I am on the internet, I'm probably writing my drabbles, or my smut, as I am wont to do, or just being generally silly. I'm a member of plenty of fandoms, because I'm generally indecisive. For example, I love a bit of sci-fi (Doctor Who / Torchwood), some fantasy (Kingdom Hearts / Final Fantasy / Harry Potter), dramaramas (LOST / House / Heroes), and various other itty bitty things (Phoenix Wright / Pokemon / Junjou Romantica). I'm probably in your fandom, too, even if you don't know it yet. I love every pairing imaginable, and will read just about anything set in front of me. That means that while I am a fan of yaoi (slash), both het and yuri (femmeslash) please me just as much. I am far less likely to read your work if you feel the need to say, for example, that 'I WILL NEVER WRITE YURI BECAUSE THAT'S GROSS YAOI 4EVR' in your userinfo. It's disgusting and homophobic, and the fact that you believe yaoi is any different to yuri is laughable. I will also read RPF, which I thought I would mention even though it isn't allowed on this site. Don't recognise the term? Google it. Whew, getting heavy in a profile. That's not like me at all. Oh wait, yes it is, because I'm rather grumpy right now. If you talk to me, you'll find I'm actually not this grumpy, though I do talk like this a lot of the time, so you may have to deal with that. I'm actually rather nice, witty even, as long as you don't catch me on a bad day. For example, just after I've gone through the profiles of certain people, and have come across brazen remarks like the example above. So that is me. Only no it's not. And yeah, I realise nobody will read this, they'll either skip straight to the drabbles or the smut.
