Just call me Ashley, I'm not big on formalities. I'm 16 and I'm an aspiring author, actress and artist from Nova Scotia, Canada. I've been writing for several years now, and it's something I take great pride in. I can't really explain it sometimes, there's just a huge enjoyment for me when it comes to writing - whether it be a simple one shot or a novel length piece. The whole idea of it, just being able to create your own plot, characters and setting - or in a fanfiction's case, developing and adding to those elements, is a great interest for me. Besides my single-minded take on making my career in the acting business, publishing my own fictional book is a goal of mine I'd like to complete in the next couple of years. As for my stories, I hope you find enjoyment in reading them - although they're just mere fan fictions. Perhaps you will see an actual novel from me in the next few years, who knows? I have recently finished my nine-month endeavour of writing the Halo piece: "Love of a Spartan", and I will make a note to finish my Atonement story "Shrapnel", in which I've kept you all waiting. My plans to write a novel this summer kind of failed - as I was viciously plagued with writer's block for the majority of the season. I've just recently posted a new story in the Halo category - I was frustrated with my novel so I wanted to jump back into the Halo universe - although I will continue to try and work on this novel. Over these past four years on fanfiction.net, I would like to humbly thank everyone who has given me support and taken the time to read and review my creations.
