Author has written 7 stories for Teen Titans. Howdy. No, I'm not a southerner, I just feel very comfortable with that greeting, deal with it. I'm kind of a weird person, but not in the 'socially inept' category, more along the lines of 'sane enough to function in society' kind of way. For example, my family members thought I was on drugs through some if not most of my high school years, and I've never touched any of that stuff. Though I did hang out with the stoners since they don't mind somebody being weird. They saw my refusal to follow any trend or crowd as cool so; I had a crowd that accepted me even though I didn't follow their ways. On the whole fanfic thing, I'm not much of a writer, more of a person with an overactive imagination where I just try and write out what goes on in my head. I even hear the character voices. They don't tell me to do anything; they just act out their scenes. See, sane enough to function in society has its perks. The voices don't hurt me. A few quick tidbits about me: Male 6’6” Big gut (But I'm working on that and my fast food addiction) College student 32 years old Hockey player Avid Reader Musician (piano and a little guitar) Writer (of music) Middle child of nine, all the rest are sisters Some Favorites (I heard it was some kind of law to have these on your bio page): Books – Anything by Thomas Harris, Harry Potter series, Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings (read it when I was 12), Douglas Adams, almost anything an English teacher would consider a classic (stuff like A Tale of Two Cities, On the Waterfront, Tom Sawyer, etc…) Music – My goal is to find at least one song in every style of music that I like. Disco was very hard to do, but I made it after hearing some of Blondie’s stuff. Ben Folds (Five or him by himself…best piano rock on the planet), Nirvana, Metallica, Beatles, Moody Blues, Bobby McFerrin, Elvis Costello, some Rolling Stones, Mamas and the Papas, Staind, Foo Fighters, Oasis, Cranberries, some Tool, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (jerk made music that sounds easy, but is a &@ to play), Edvard Grieg, Franz Liszt (wrote the most difficult piano piece ever), Ludwig von Beethoven, Erik Satie, J. S. Bach, Buddy Holly and the Crickets, Louie Armstrong (Satchmo), Johnny Cash, Randy Travis, Weird Al Yankovic (funniest stuff you can get in modern music), Tom Lehrer (funniest stuff you can get from before Al’s time), Animals, CSNY (Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young…or any combination of them), Moxy Fruvous, Alice in Chains, Alice Cooper…uhm…just go to my never updated website for more…I’m getting tired of typing these. Movies – Lord of the Rings, Willow, The Princess Bride, National Treasure, Snow White, Aristocats, Napoleon Dynamite, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, UHF, Six String Samurai, Unbreakable, The Sixth Sense, The Silence of the Lambs, Blazing Saddles (and anything else by Mel Brooks), Duck Soup (and anything with the Marx Brothers), most any Johnny Depp film, he’s just that good an actor, Star Wars (all of them), Indiana Jones (all of them, but The Last Crusade is top tier), and much more that I either don’t remember right now (how much of a favorite could they be, right?) or that I just don’t want to type up. Foods – Arabic, Chinese, Mexican, and a good burger. I also like casseroles. Least Favorite Things – Democrat policies (sorry, I’m a jerk about politics), stupid people, racism/sexism/bigotry/intolerance (so…I kind of need to work on this myself…see the last two things I put if you don’t understand) (also, it works both ways, a black person hating a white person is just as bad as the reverse. Ditto that for woman who are sexist against men.), spam (the email thing and the fake food product), boredom. Games – Any Square RPG except the Final Fantasy series (FF holds your hand too much to feel like it’s really you beating the game), word games, logic puzzles, riddles, group games (with a family my size, you expected less?), crosswords, board games of all shapes and sizes. If you want to know anything else…you creep me out. Seriously. E-mail me what you want. If you're tired of copy/paste crap being used to help make people feel like individuals, put this in your profile. | |||||||||||||
