Our Statement of Belief(s):

Especially to our Narnia readers...

~Schmo and Sushi will not read, nor ever write, any Suspians. (For those strangers to the Narnia fandom, this is pairing Prince Caspian with Susan Pevensie.) Sushi highly dislikes and discourages movieverse fics, and she believes that a Caspian/Susan romance goes against Lewis' original intents. This ship is not from the books. It is a fabrication of the movies' creators and has no rightful place in the Narnia fandom. In the books, Prince Caspian is 13, and Susan a year or so younger. A passionate romance like those presented in Suspians would never happen.

Lucians (Caspian/Lucy), however, as long as they stay true to the books, she does enjoy and support, and may someday write her own. :D

To our Harry Potter/Narnia readers...

~Schmo and Sushi are both professing Christians. Because of this, Sushi will write all of our Narnia stories with that in mind - C.S. Lewis himself wrote the Chronicles of Narnia to answer the question, "What would Christ be like if He came to another world?" Thus Aslan and Narnia were born. While she tries to steer clear of overt Christianity, as she understands that it makes many people uncomfortable, there is a very strong element of it in each of our Lewis fanfics, "Sea Rat" in particular. Just look for it!

Also, you will never see any Dark Magic in our Harry Potter stories. The magic of Hogwarts and the theory of wizardry that is so prevalent in the real books takes backseats in the Funny Farm books, and we are comfortable with it. That is the way it will stay, and that's that. Thanks for reading!

Regarding reviews...

~Regular visitors may have noticed that Schmo and Sushi do not review often. It's not personal - it's directly related to how little time Sushi has to read fics. However, when she does read, and feels impelled to review, you can usually count on a well-rounded, thoughtful one. We don't believe that "this sucks" or "update soon" qualifies as reviews. (If you receive a review from us, it's because something about your story impressed her! :D She doesn't waste time reviewing poorly-written fics.) Also, those who leave well-rounded reviews for our story(s) can count on receiving responses from her - we'll always answer questions and take time to show our appreciation.

Then Mr. Bennet falls deathly ill and the Colinses are waiting…who can save Mary—and her mother—from destitution and spinsterhood? Rated T. MaryOC. (Sushi alone)
