Hi-- thought it was time to update the old profile/bio.

Well, I'm still teaching, I'm still older than most of you but not the oldest here I'm sure (winkwinkReinbeauchaserandGreenWillow). I've been writing for some time now, ever since I rediscovered the Turtles back in I THINK 2004 or so-- maybe 2005, but don't quote me. Mostly I wrote for myself, then got my nerve up finally and posted a few at Mikey's TMNT-- and for a time had my own story site at Earthlink (until earlier this year when I suddenly could no longer find it OR reach my email accounts).

I think the first story I posted here was "Lost and Found"-- but then again, I can't recall without looking at the list. Dang! It sure has grown, though if I keep fussing around and never finish "Ghosts" then that story will be longer than the number of stories I've done.

I've met a lot of people since I started posting fiction and joining certain fan sites-- even met several of them in person! Buslady is a friend; also Reinbeauchaser (we NEED to go to lunch soon!). I've met GreenWillow (who is taking a LONG time to finish "Manifestations Noir" hinthint) and many more people in the fandom who have written fiction here and other places. I've teamed up on a few with Splinter (who ALSO is sadly behind in finishing "In Another's Shoes" MORE hinthintpokewithapointystickhinthint).

I've also, I'm sorry to say, fallen behind in reading any fiction lately. I am sorry! I will try to read more like I used to. But don't hate me-- I'm not the angsty type. I like drama and such, but I can't get into some stories that explore different themes. I've read a few and liked a few, but mostly I don't enjoy them (and notice I am NOT saying they're not well-written! Many are penned by very talented authors!).

Anyway, there it is.

Latest update: Stealthy Stories contest for 2007 (or 2008?)-- anyway, got Best Holiday with "The Gift of the Magiangelo"!

And a further update, brought on by two recent reviews concerning "Bragging Rights". I changed the summary against my better judgment, but I would have thought the opening sentence was a clear indication that it was NOT "slash". I do not write slash, I do not read slash (nor turtlecest, or for that matter very many pairings at all). I have paired my OC Audrey with Splinter only very rarely, and only at Stealthy Stories or at Live Journal. I have only ever written a few "naughty" Turtle stories, also not here, though I have read a few.

But I draw the line at slash, yaoi, incest, and other things like that. I am not a prude. I just do not like those types of stories.
