On Pairings: In general, I support pairings that I think might have something to offer each other. It's sort of rare for me to like a pairing if they're just like "Hey you're hot do me". An example of this is Vakama/Nokama from Bionicle. I support this pair not only because of their interaction in the books and movies, but also because they both have something to offer the other. She offers him confidence and support, he offers her a haven from stress (as in, she always seems calmer and happier when talking to him).
And yes, I am also generally against slash. There is not a slash pairing out there that I TRULY support; however, I do like some pairings. Green Devil is responsible for the Onua/Lewa fandom, and I like the pair as well. Do I support it? No. It's more of an "on principle" thing. It's not because of religion, as I think that if two people are gay in real life, then they should be free to be so together. Slash just annoys me, and that's all. The only slash pairings that I tolerate (for lack of a better word, I'm not going to flame you for liking slash) are actual canon slash pairings (like Touya/Yuki from CardCaptor Sakura) and a select few non-canon pairings that other people have made enjoyable for me, like Onua/Lewa from Bionicle.
That said, I also like a few crack pairings, as seen below. Crack pairings are fine with me, as long as, again, they have something to offer each other and it's not just a random thing that someone has come up with because both of them are hot or whatever. I prefer my pairings to make SOME sense to me, thanks.
There are some canon characters that I will support an OC with. However, there are also some fandoms, such as Bleach, the characters of which I will NEVER support an OC with, no matter what that OC is like. In fact, upon seeing an Ulquiorra/OC pairing somewhere on deviantART, I felt absolutely disgusted. Some things are just not meant to be, and Ulquiorra Schiffer paired with someone's OC is one of them. It didn't help that the person made him out to be completely and sappily in love with their Mary Sue...so far, the only fandoms out of everything that I like (and there are quite a few fandoms that I like that aren't listed down there), the only ones in which I support some canon/OC pairings are Bionicle, Naruto, Children of the Red King, and Transformers. And even then, I'm stingy.

7-11-08 -- OK. So I went to the doctor yesterday, and apparently I've got some form of virus that hides in the lining of the throat, which is why antibiotics have such a hard time getting rid of it. So now I'm on antibiotics for three weeks, and am scheduled to go get an X-ray later today. Sigh. What a nice life I have. But really, I'm just glad it's nothing worse than some simple little virus. Very glad indeed. ...I need to get back to writing something. Mega Sigh. See you later!
