Not quite sure what to put in this. I am a long time reader of HP fanfiction and finally decided to give writing it a go. My favorite parings is (strangely enough) Harry/Severus. Clearly, that won't be happening in this story. I love Severitus stories and wanted to try that first...we'll see if I ever get to writing a HP/SS fic in the future. My characters are somewhat out of character from the JKR universe, largely because if they were in character then Snape would be evil, Bill would be a slightly boring (but hot) side character and Harry would be nauseatingly straight. I am also living in total denial of HBP. I still wasn't over the horror of Book V when I was hit by VI. I have finally accepted that Sirius died (it took me a year) but I don't think I can ever accept an evil Severus. I felt that it was a completely cliche move (Let's make the ugly snarky one evil! They'll never see it coming! Please.) and a total let down from JKR's typically brilliant writing. And yes, I have heard all of the arguments that he isn't really bad. I just feel that as a writer, JKR has made some choices that have severely limited her future choices for book VII, particularly for Harry as a protagonist. With the let down of the last I two books, I sincerely doubt that she will be able to change my mind with book VII. Of course, that doesn't erase my sincere hope that I am wrong and she pulls out all the stops with the last book.

The lovely DAM HATTER is beginning the tedious work of translating some of my fics into French. If you would prefer to read the fics in French, check her translations out. She is beginning with The Changer and (depending on how long all of this takes and her patience level!) she will proceed from there.

I am concerned that it might get deleted as I've already written more sex in the eight chapters I have completed for TBP than I've written in the entire 42 chapters I've completed for SD. blushes
