I am deathly afraid of making a character OCC. If you think any cannon character is OCC, by the love of god say something. And as for any OC I've got floating around in my fics, they will most of the time be female, at least the ones that actually get character development. So if they seem too sue-ish, say something! Criticism is a great improver, and I love any grammatically correct critics I can get.
