To this day, this bard remains as illusive as ever. Is this "Zero Hakaru" really the real thing? Who is he/she? What does he/she want? Very few know the true answers and even they remained tight-lipped about the Angelic Maverick's true nature.

-What is Known About the Angelic Maverick-

Genres - Zero has been known to be an adamant fan of the romance and humor genres. It is theorized that Zero enjoys the pick me up atmospheres of such fics, as well as the agreement in the true love lessons.

Pairings - Zero also likes to play around with the "rarer" pairings in fanfiction, possibly for the challenge of actually making the pairing work. Evidence of such pairings include:

Anime - Zero has been confirmed to be a lover of the following anime series: Ranma 1/2, Neon Genesis Evangelion, .hack, Love Hina, Louie the Rune Soldier, I''s, Cowboy Bebop, Bleach, Death Note, Fate/Stay Night, Guyver, Negima!

TV - Besides anime, Zero does watch other TV programming. However, most of these shows fall under tokusatsu, a genre of Japanese live action shows that mix superheroes, drama, and special effects. Tokusatsu show franchises Zero is known to enjoy are Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. In fact, it is theorized that Zero is COMPLETELY obsessed with Kamen Rider.

Movies - Almost alike to TV tastes, Zero does enjoy live action movies from Japan. Most of these include the Kamen Rider movies, but other examples are Death Note and Battle Royale. Although, unlike the other factors, Zero is known to enjoy many of the English movies such as Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Zoolander, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, Rush Hour, Shanghai Noon/Knights.

Video Games - Being a heavy gamer, Zero adores the RPG genre of video games. Among the top is Final Fantasy, Wild ARMS, Ephemeral Fantasia, .hack, Kingdom Hearts, and Legend of Zelda. Other favorite games include Okami, Resident Evil, Metal Gear, Megaman, Katamari Damacy, and the Kamen Rider games.

The Maverick Brigade is a collection of what appears to be Zero's inner circle of affiliates. How close the bard's relationships are with these people are unknown, however it is known that these people know the truth behind the bard's facade.

Those Who Have Been Identified

Chaotic Rei - a young lass who serves as the cleric in the Brigade. Known to show similar tastes in fiction as well as pairings, Zero seems to have affection towards this cleric's 'bardic' techniques.

Those Who Have Not Been Identified

Lycre - a young lycanthrope berserker with a strange affinity towards the musical arts. Zero seems to entrust Lycre with problems needing a strong sense of strength

Ruka - another young lass in the Brigade. Unlike Rei, Ruka is a mischievous rogue with a sharp tongue and a high potential for the visual arts. Zero seems to entrust Ruka with problems needing wisdom and rationale.

Rinze - the third lass in the Brigade. A rumored storyweaver in this realm, Rinze the nekomimi warrior seems to be of the wandering sort, never in the same place twice. Zero shares similar interests with Rinze and make good debate partners.
