Hi! HorseLoverTW here!
Things to know about me: I'm a girl...I love horses and enjoy competing in Eventing and occasionally Dressage and Show Jumping. I'm a College Senior, not an English major or minor but I have a decent number of hours there so any faults in my stories are just due to laziness. Also, I'm a complete airhead when it comes to spelling. I apologize in advance right here.
My favorite tv shows include but are not limited to: BtvS, Firefly, X-Men Evolution, The West Wing, Northern Exposure, In Plain Sight, Psych, Gilmore Girls, Angel, Life With Derek, Coffee Prince, Quantum Leap, Hana Kimi, My Boys, and The Lone Gunman.
Some of my favorite movies include: Clueless, Serenity, King Arthur, The Phantom of the Opera, The Truth About Cats and Dogs, Miss Congeniality, The Princess Bride, The Last Unicorn, and Troy.
Some of my favorite books include: All Meg Cabot books (particularly The Mediator Series and Avalon High), The Harry Potter series, Pandora, Blood and Gold, James Patterson's Kiss the Girls, Excalibur!, The Count of Monte Cristo, and Stephenie Meyer's Twilight and Eclipse.
My favorite pairings:
Btvs: Spike/Buffy, Willow/Oz, Xander/Cordelia or Anya, Giles/Jenny
Angel: Spike/Illyria
Firefly: Mal/Inara or Mal/River, Kaylee/Jayne, Wash/Zoe
X-Men Evolution: Scott/Rogue
The West Wing: Josh/Donna, Sam/Mallory, C.J./Simon, Lou/Otto
In Plain Sight: Mary/Marshall
Psych: Shawn/Juliet
The Last Unicorn: Almalthea/Shmendrick
Harry Potter: Hermione/Sirius, Hermione/Tom Riddle Jr., Hermione/Remus, Hermione/Harry, Ron/Luna, Neville/Ginny
X-Men Movieverse: Wolverine/Rogue, Wolverine/Storm
Characters that don't have a good pairing that I like to play matchmaker with in crossover:
-Obi-Wan Kenobi (Star Wars)
-Simon Tam (Firefly)
-Tristan, and Galahad (King Arthur)
-Sirius Black (Harry Potter)
My Stories:
1. A Sirius Unicorn:
(Harry Potter) Arabella Skydancer is the Queen of a large herd of Unicorns attacked by Voldemort during his first war. To protect her herd and her family, she sends her only daughter, Athena, to her old friend Albus Dumbledore. Athena is given tools to help her blend in with teenage wizards and witches, but nothing can quite prepare the ancient Unicorn Princess for the Marauders. Athena balances her time while at Hogwarts between the boys, figuring out how to help stop Voldemort before it's too late for her herd, and just learning how to be a human in a magical world. Sirius/OC, Remus/OC, James/Lily. Not Complete. On Hold.
2. A Future Riddle:
(Harry Potter) No time turners needed when you're a Vampire waiting for the future to come to you. Jessie Pandora discovers that the events of Harry Potter were written by a Seer and thus are real, they just haven't happened yet. In an effort to halt the horrible events in the series from occurring she decides to stop Tom Riddle Jr. before he can become Voldemort. And she'll use whatever means necessary whether that means calling on her blood-sucking cat to trail Riddle through the Hogwarts Halls or asking her D.C. Vampire/Lawyer friend to help her kill the basilisk. OC/OC, TomRiddleJr./OC. Not Complete. On Hold.
3. Caeruleum:
(BtvS/Angel crossover in Angel 'verse) Picks up right where the Angel series finale of 'Not Fade Away' left off. The title is cerulean or blueish in the latin, figure it out. Buffy, Willow, Faith and the new Slayers come to the rescue and the story takes off. It's a bit of a closure piece to let characters interact with each other as they're not allowed to anymore. Although pretty much every character from either show will be included in some form or fashion, the main emphasis will be on Spike and Illyria. Buffy/Spike/Illyria, Spike/Buffy/Angel, Kennedy/Willow/Oz, Faith/Wood. Not Complete. On Hold.
4. Harry Potter and the Mudblood Liaison:
(Harry Potter) After Hermione ran off at seeing Ron and Lavender kiss for the first time, Harry went to comfort her. And then Ron interrupted and that's that. But, what if Ron hadn't interrupted? This story shows the impact one little event not occurring can have on the entire outcome of the series. Hermione hadn't acted like Hermione in Book Six, this is what would have happened if maybe she had been more herself. The title represents that what Harry and Hermione are doing in the beginning of the story is wrong. Harry/Hermione. Not Complete. On Hold.
5. In A Hell Dimension Far Far Away...
(BtvS/Star Wars in Star Wars 'verse) Buffy jumps through the portal in "The Gift" and lands in the sands of Tatooine shortly before Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan arrive there on the Queen's spaceship. Buffy naturally adapts to the Star Wars universe and quickly gets to know the two Jedi as she progresses with them through the events of 'The Phantom Menace.' There are two main points to this story- The first is that with Buffy in the mix certain things, both good and bad are going to change (not always necessarily for the better). The second is that this is a humorous love story between Buffy Summers and Obi-Wan because I want them both to have a happy ending and they fit really well together surprisingly. Buffy/Obi-Wan. Complete. Sequel in the works...
6. Earth That Was What?:
(BtvS/Firefly crossover) Response to a challenge on Twisting the Hellmouth. Kaylee has tinkered one too many times on Serenity's engine causing it to tear a whole in the space-time continuum and suck the crew into the crater of what used to be Sunnydale directly after the events of "Chosen." Now they have to find a way back. In the mean time, they'll help the Slayer's crew get set up in jolly, old England to rebuild the Watcher's Council and use Wash's piloting to get to new Slayer recruits all over the world. Multiple pairings. WIP.
I love feedback and reviews but I usually don't reply on fanfiction.net. #5, #3, and #6 are posted at Twisting the Hellmouth and I make sure to reply to every review there. Thanks for an interest in my stories! Cheers!
