.6.26.09. I've gotten a couple of requests to post No Way Out, which I wrote like forever ago when I first got hooked on DP. I would love to post it after a major revamp and edit, but the problem is, it's been so long that the original file has been lost. No worries though, as I posted it online back when I first wrote it. Problem: I have no idea what site it was that I posted it on. Well, I remember that it was a forum-style, and had a black background with white words, and I remember that a bunch of people posted there who have also posted on this site. It was about 4 years ago, maybe a little more, and I think I posted it under the penname DPcraze or something like that. I, unfortunately, also cleaned out my "Favorite" sites from my old computer since then, and that site was one of the ones I deleted. If that site still exists and you think that you may know what it was, I would be forever grateful if you would let me know. Please and thank you!! .6.27.09. I just realized that I was also a member of another forum at around the same time period. I think I would've had the same or similar name to the one mentioned in yesterday's post, and I remember it was a gray background with green accents, though different skins may have been an option. It was where I first read White Gryphon's "The Beast Within" and somebody's "Episode 9.5" (Don't remember the actual title or the authors name, but that was the author's nickname for the fic. It was that one that takes place between episodes 9 and 10, where the cut on Danny's arm from Bertrand's stinger gets 'infected' or something like that. All I remember is that it took place over the course of like a week and a half, I loved it, and the author (wish I could remember who it was - if you think you know please inform me) said that they didn't believe in writing fics that changed the course of the series - they liked ones that could've inserted between episodes without affecting anything.)

.5.11.09. I can log in again!! I'm like dancing in circles screaming because I am so happy about this. I haven't been able to submit signed reviews, post stories, or respond to reviews in about a year and a half!! That, and I'm in a writing class at school, and most of the things I'm writing can be converted extremely easily into fanfics, and I have a bunch of ideas saved up from the time when I wasn't able to post. I didn't have any motivation to actually write any of them because I couldn't post, so I just kinda jotted down my ideas in various places and promptly forgot about them. But now I have a TON of ideas, a bunch of inspiration, and I'm back, baby!!

Background on How I Started Liking DP:

My brother got me into it. Like so many shows before it, I started liking it when I watched a few episodes over his shoulder. Then on a Monday when I didn't have school there was a marathon of DP. I started taping it when Maternal Instincts aired and got the rest of the marathon on tape as well. It wasn't long before I got the rest of the episodes on tape in addition to these. Control Freaks was the first eppy that I taped the first time it aired, and other than Beauty Marked (when I was at camp for the whole week) I haven't missed the first air date since. But now I can't find the tapes with the most recent episodes on them, and I'm getting quite annoyed. New update on this: I missed most of season 3 due to camp for one week of it and practice during it in the other week. Drives me nuts. I've still only seen about 1/3 of season 3. PP was great, if only because of the wonderful revelation nature and DxSness, and D-Stabilized was nice too because I love development of Valerie's character.

Favorite DP episode: The Ultimate Enemy, then My Brother's Keeper, then Reality Trip. I really like anything involving Danny bonding with his friends, family, and teachers (Mr. Lancer is AWESOME).

Favorite Song: Wide Eyed, by Nichole Nordeman. I love a ton of her songs, and a ton of ZOEgirl. Favorite radio station is Air1.

Favorite TV show: Danny Phantom. This is also the only fanfiction that I write and read, though crossovers are fine too, especially with Teen Titans or Static.

Ships: DxS. Valerie wants to kill half of him, Paulina thinks half of him is a loser, and slashes are totally against the overall nature of the show. Granted, Valerie gets a lot more accepting later, and I don't like to believe that Paulina is actually as shallow as she is portrayed, and I love fics that deal with the development of their characters. I do think that DxS should be developed gradually, even though my fic Talentpaloosa does not do this. It was one of the first things I ever wrote, so sue me, I have different opinions now.

Likes: Danny Phantom, Teen Titans, Static Shock, Psych, Numb3rs, Monk, Royal Pains, Maximum Ride, any books by Frank Peretti, other superhero shows/movies, spending time online (mostly here), reading and writing (which, again, is obvious by my membership here), horses, cats, pillows (or anything else fuzzy and soft), music (singing, playing, and listening), AU stories, and the great FF reviewers!

Dislikes: Slash fics. This is totally against the general nature of the show, and against the personalities of the people in it. I also don't like the term "halfa"- I mean, really, it's used in ONE episode, and suddenly it's THE term for describing a ghost-human hybrid? Sure. I don't generally write DxV or any other pairings except DxS, but as long as it's not slash I'm willing to read it and will probably like it. I like DxP friendship and am willing to accept any pairing (within reason), especially if it's written well.

My Fanfiction. If you would like me to start posting some of these, let me know and I will. I just need some motavation. ;)

These are all fics that I'm either in the process of writing or have just thought of the idea for. I will probably do them all eventually. When I start posting a fic it will be taken off of this list to make room for more. NOTE: these are all of my older ideas and I may no longer be considering them. If there is one you would really like to see posted, please let me know and I will start immediately on revamping the old idea and rewriting whatever I wrote before (as it was most likely written several years ago and I am a much better writer now). I can't do that if you don't tell me what you want though, so please feel free to give feedback!

No Way Out: Danny's parents get kidnapped and taken into the ghost zone, and Danny is the only one who can save them. But will he be able to accomplish this while maintaining his secret? Maddie's Deepest Desire/ A Mother's Desire: my first fanfic, pretty bad, not very descriptive so I havn't posted it yet until I make some serious revisions. What happens when Desiree shows up again and Maddie wishes that she knew why Danny is always missing his curfew? complete but not posted. In the revised version: Maddie makes a wish to Desiree and finds out more about her son than she ever could have imagined. In the heat of the moment, Danny disappears. A year later he sets out for home, but the journey is more difficult than he thought it would be. Find out how a mother's deepest longing can change in this heartfelt epic.

The Mysterious Master- Spirit of the Shadows: A new group of ghosts has been attacking, then leaving in the middle of the fight. Each one mentions their master, but who is it? And will Danny be able to defeat the master when he finally discovers who it is? 1st chapter complete, none posted

Autumn Winds: Valerie starts making some connections between the ghost boy and Danny. Just after TUE, before FWD. 10th chapter almost complete, none posted. I'm thinking about discontinuing this one because I've been in major writer's block for a really long time (years), and Valerie's character has been developed by the show a lot more in that time period. To put it in perspective, I started writing this right around the time Reign Storm aired.

Danny Dooby Doo: The Mystery Inc. gang finds out that ghosts are not only real, but can be very helpful. Not all ghosts are willing to help, though. incomplete, none posted. I'm also thinking of completely changing this one, as the mystery gang really has nothing to do with my plotline.

Checkmate: Danny's learning to play chess, and Vlad makes an unexpected visit. Now Danny's life is turning into a giant chess game, but will he be willing to sacrifice his queen if it means saving the world? Based, strangely enough, on a Tarzan episode. incomplete, none posted

Poison Control: Valerie sees Vlad transform, and recieves a warning from Danny Phantom. But when Vlad attacks at Casper High, Danny must reveal everything to her in order to protect his friends from Plasmius. But what will happen to Danny when Vlad discovers a way to control his every move? incomplete, none posted

Split Personality: Danny's ghost half and human half are separated once again, but this time his ghost half is nowhere to be found. Danny must embark on a journey to find himself...literally! Several ghost attacks on the way make him realize just how important his powers are to him. incomplete (actually, not even started, but I like the idea), none posted

Animal Control: A ghost needs to get rid of Danny Phantom, but doesn't know his human identity, only what school Danny attends. He casts a spell on the whole school, turning them all into animals! A Closer Look: Mr. Lancer is delving a little deeper into the life of one of his students when he discovers something that he would have never dreamed possible.

After the Fact: Imagine TUE never happened. Clockwork doesn't exist. A freak accident as a result of a fight with Skulker gone horribly wrong winds up killing Sam, Tucker, and the whole Fenton family, all except for Danny. Lancer is one of the first civillians to arrive at the scene, spots Danny and gets him to a hospital. Now Danny is living with Lancer while trying to keep his secret safe and deal with the deaths of his loved ones. And all the while he is feeling a darkness slowly overtaking him... Okay, I'll admit, I really like this one. I'm having some writer's block issues, but hey, considering my name, it's really not surprising, is it? I'm actually a fairly large way into this one and will be focusing my attention on it as much as possible.

A Dangerous Game: Based off The Most Dangerous Game. Danny is on his way home from a mapping expedition to the Ghost Zone when the Specter Speeder breaks down and leaves him stranded on an extremely creepy island way off course. Nobody knows where he is, his ghost powers have been disabled, and he has been given a maximum of three days to live...
