Name: FreedomValentine

Location:
I'm writing from a personal (well, not really, I gots to share with the sibling and all, but yeah..) computing device (laptop, you jackass) in a sunny island called... Singapore (yeah, the YOG 2010 people, yeah, okay) and I'm in my last year at Innova Junior College (jcs mansae!!) but I live in Kallang.
UPDATE: I have now progressed to a university (yayness!) that is really cheena because of the food options.

Educational Qualifications:
Enough to write something in decent grammar and perfect spelling, except that Microsoft Word thinks its so high and mighty half the time...
Ima be a prof one day! Woohoo!!

Real Name:
FreedomValentine

REAL Name:
F--, I'm not telling.

Date of Birth:
Ten days before Shinn Bastard Asuka, go figure it out yourselves. Or is it nine.. hell, I don't even like him..

The Picture
Oh! That's one of my awesome professors- yes, I'm in uni, and I'm not so stupid after all- in his slightly younger days. Why did I use that? Well, I haven't got a life, have I? That was fairly obvious.

Humour:
The same as Ferdinand, Duke of Calabria. Melancholic-choleric. Which means that if you piss me off, you're screwed. Or at least that's what they say. I don't know, I think I'm a pretty patient and hospitable individual. I have no idea why I put this bit on the page. I'm sorry. I really am, you know.

Title:
The Supreme Empress of the Monarchies, Oligarchies, Shogunates, Dictatorshipsand Democracies and So-Ons of Insanity

Currently Hooked on:
This guy that teaches me 0_0 because he's kind of pretty but I'm still faithful to Zack.

Current Obsession:
Nothing much. But I am terrified of Arabia de Naito or some manga like that which was absolutely DISGUSTING. Other than that, I am hell bent on having an academic career.

Hot guy in the picture:
What hot guy? Wait. Oh, that guy. Right. He's just my professor.

Writing Style(s):
Pop a song in, get an image and visualise. Be the persona. Write. Voila!
Oh, but it takes a while to master this. Meanwhile, minions, stick to your own methods.
There's always the alternative of talking to yourself. Or dancing a little. It works. And yes, I can dance.
What matters in the end, however, is how you see things and what you see in your mind's eye and not your physical eye with the sclera and the lens and bla bla bla..
Am I sounding pompous yet?

Reading Style:
I'll read anything -and listen to any song as well- as long as it makes sense and it's good. I'm really into Takako Takahashi, Natsume Soseki and S T Coleridge and, to a certain extent, Sylvia Plath have a slight influence on how I write as well. Kobo Abe is another big one when it comes to the emptier ones, and his plays are one of the main driving forces behind my awesome imagination and capacity to invent (yeah right). Talk about ego.. am I ashamed of myself? No.

Listening Style:
I listen to a lot of stuff and a lot of people. I 'm a good listener, and I'm apparently good at giving advice, especially with regards to things that I have never experienced. As for sounds and songs, I'm really into post-rock because of it's mystic quality and the great help its given me in envisioning my not-too-original and from-scratch works, the latter being pieces I don't publish. If you're going to try that, I suggest hologram+ and Arc Lab. They're really expensive, though, and you can't download them without paying at least USD 3.
I also do a bit of punk rock, though it's mostly limited to The Sex Pistols. Johnny killed my love for him when he became a beer-guzzling ah pek with blue hair, but I'm still fine with him. Or that's what I tell myself to do, at least.. most of the time..
As is the case with a lot of other people, I still do rock music and pop stuff. I don't like Korean songs unless they're the really old school ones, and by that I mean folk songs and traditions, such as pansori, which I really would like to undergo training in. Arai Akino does wonders at times, by the way, as do most ballads and instrumental pieces.

Personality:
I talk like Fiona Xie does her interviews, and I can't wear any heels of any sort. Platforms I can handle. I think. Apparently, I look like Shiho Hahnenfuss -used to, rather, now I'm.. well.. you know..-, though I don't see how, but couple of people called me that by mistake- three years ago, who am I kidding... I'm a little like an uglified version of her, I guess... And I'm very much like Haruko Haruhara, if you know what I mean.

My kind of stories:
I can't stand those stories where they just try their best to sound original and dump random words in romanji at the oddest places in the world without even knowing what it means or, worse still, how to spell it. There's something called the Internet, idiots. I don't think your IQ is -400, you could just look it up first, or simply think about the context and the poor reader when you're writing. I don't think it's that hard- or is it, you Epsilon Semi-Morons?
If anybody asks me what Epsilon Semi-Morons are, I AM SERIOUSLY GOING TO SEND YOU TO MATSUMOTO TO BE ABUSED OR SUBJECTED TO WHATEVER HE WANTS TO DO WITH YOU. Even if it's Endo's toxic Frisk pizza. Eurgh.

Debut Story:
Its Gonna Rain, in which I should have said something about the Frisk pizza.

Upcoming Stories:
Shiho The Scoundrel.
COMPLETED SOON Crisis Core. Literally.

Oh, but I'd love to write:
A story based on a DBSK song. That's really hard, really. I've tried it before, and I draw big blanks most of the time, mainly because their songs are so bloody void of meaningful sounds OR words. Exhibit A: Balloons.

And I'd love to see:
Somebody flaming my work properly. I swear, I haven't had anybody flaming at all, and I know my stories are.. very mediocre? It just feels really, really odd. No, really, rather than telling me yet again how hot Zala is (I used to think in that dumbass manner at one time or at least similarly, but then I was brought back to my senses when I realised Akira Ishida looks like.. kerokero..) tell me that you hate my effort and why you hate it. Anti-Zalas! Bring it on! Kira fanclub! Stop sobbing over the world in that smelly corner with your idol while fantasising how to rape him and TELL ME SOMETHING USEFUL!!
Oh, lord I'm gonna cry of despair now..

If you're honestly going to review:
Tell me one good thing about what you just saw, and two bad things. I'll love you to bits if you tell me what you'd like to see me do about it. :)
If you're reading from the start, tell me about as many of the chapters as you can, though that might be an issue, seeing that I do mostly oneshots. I sound like a godawful bloody drunkard. But I know next to nothing about alcohol, so it really is a wonder.. who came up with the term anyway? Hmm..

I told you, right? HOLD YOUR HORSES AND FLOP MASS-PRODUCED STRIKE DAGGERS, damn it. And all those fake Hyaku Shikis as well (you think I don't know, Attha, you copycat scum). Look, I wrote something, just LOOK.

God..
