Update as of 11/7/11

Maybe reviewing isn't cool anymore, and that's fine. I'm pretty much the anti-cool, ask my husband. I'm not cool enough for Facebook, Twitter or anything that demands an immediate response. I like reading reviews but the truth is, I find myself very satisfied just seeing my alerts and favorites climbing. So if you're reading, (even though you're technically being pretty shady about it... :) ) no pressure, I'm glad you're enjoying yourselves.

Anyway, this update is not me whoring out for reviews, it's because surprise! This oven is officially baking another bun! That's right, I'm pregnant and my husband thinks it would be best to just sit on my ass all day. Bad news for my ass, (and the rest of me at the rate I'm eating) but fantastic news for anyone reading because that means I have just enough time to bang some updates out.

I hope to update Ethereal soon, I got some sweet motivational PMs and I think I'm ready to try this again.

Update as of 2/7/10

Jeez, what a liar. Yeah I know, I haven't touched any of these stories in over two years and I'm sad to see that most of my beloved followers have moved on. Well, what can I say? I'm sorry. My kids are old enough to be in a day care program I'm comfortable with and we'll see how it goes. I know people are tired of hearing about the troubles foreigners have with the enigma that is the English language but I'm almost certain I've got it down to a nearly acceptable technique. No?

Anyway, for anyone new to my page and horribly old stories, I'm Violet. I'm a displaced German living with her American husband and two children in the state of New York. I'm twenty something with a degree in child psychology and recently acquired a position as a High School Counselor. Need advice on picking the perfect college for you? I'm your girl.

After I deal with my own kids, of course!

I see that every time I visit the pages of my fellow authors especially for this fandom and they'll have left some horribly depressing and a bit condescending letter to address their fans stating they've outgrown fan fiction. While no one sympathizes more than me for authors who have been pulled away from their work because of RL events (like University, A more demanding career, A new relationship, or in my case becoming pregnant and starting a family,) I would never stoop so low as saying I outgrew fan fiction as if to put the people who enjoy it now at a lower level than myself. At the same time, I remember being just a bit younger and thinking that Fan Fiction would dominate my life forever just like many people feel now.

And really, the bitch of it is, after a while it just doesn't seem like a priority anymore.

So while I won't promise to update on schedule, I will promise to try.

I love fanfiction but I have terrible habit of deleted any finished works or abandoning them altogether. But I have some free time these days and I thought I'd rectify this. So to any of you who felt abandoned, I'm sorry and I mean that to the bottom of my heart.

And to anyone just visiting, Welcome! I hope you stick around.

Ethereal - Updated and under reconstruction for anyone interested, It's a piece that I've received the most story alerts for.

ALWAYS - Riddled with typing errors but a piece that I loved and received lovely feed back for. A One shot for good.

OLAC - Received an extreme makeover Titans edition but has yet to be re-posted. I'll do my best to get on that.

Rain - Ugh Rubbish, I'm taking it down.
