After requests from several people, I now provide a fanfiction assessment service for those who want someone to discuss their ideas with. If you send me a summary of any plot ideas you have, I will give you a critique of approximately 1000 words. This costs $1 for the first email and all correspondence after that is 100% free.

I've finished my exams now — thank you to everyone for the well-wishing, and for all the reviews I've come back to. You're all absolutely incredible to have stuck with me for so long!

I've been trying my utmost to get another chapter of When We Dared the Dawn done for you, but my well of inspiration — after three years in the Transformers fandom — seems to have finally dried up. As I've been working on original fiction, my writing style has changed enormously and it's very difficult for me to get back into my old prose. It feels to me like I've outgrown it after reading so many books to hone my style, and getting back into it is like trying to get back into a too-tight pair of jeans. I really think the flow of the story would be unsettled by the change, and unfortunately I just can't connect with the characters in the same way I used to. I've been so wrapped up in writing my novel, going back to fanfiction is much harder than I expected. I hope you'll understand this. I'm going to try and squeeze out one more chapter before I say goodbye to the series. Maybe Transformers III will inspire me to continue, but for now, I'm leaving it on hiatus.

For those of you that want to know anything about what was going to happen, I've put together a kind of scrapbook of all my drafts for later chapters. If anyone would like it, please send me your email address in a private message and I'll be more than happy to send it to you (remember to put spaces between the words within the email, otherwise the site deletes the link).

Thank you so much again for three years of such constant support. It really means a lot to me and I hope you enjoy my novel — if and when I publish it — just as much as you enjoyed Deux Claret.

Please note that DXIII is working on a prequel to the Deux Claret series, entitled Deux Claret: How We Came to Be (see link below). I really hope you guys will follow it and drop him a review.
