Not even when Obi-Wan's checking out Anakin's ass, or when he tells Anakin he would want no other man by his side. I choose to look at the events of ROTS as more of GL's AU--an interesting theory, committed to digital film, but just a theory. In my way of thinking, Anakin and Obi-Wan were devoted to each other completely and lived happily ever after, engaging in lots of hot, sexy, angsty, and humorous situations that I can never ever get enough of. They were in love, they loved each other forever, and you can't convince me otherwise, lol! I do have a few peculiarities I enjoy being somehow associated with them in fics: padawan braids; Jedi boots; lightsabres; sweaty curls; the Delta Six; pancakes; chocolate; jokes about Obi-Wan's height or age; drunk or slutty Anakin; mirrors, dressers, taxis; beach vacations; showers; Quinlan Vos as matchmaker/troublmaker; and one or both of them piss drunk and the ensuing hot Jedi lovin', usually with a clumsy seduction.
